Abstract

For indigenous peoples, agriculture is still the basis of their lives. However, for the Kanekes people, agriculture is usually used as a ritual to worship their beliefs, so it becomes local wisdom that is the forerunner to the food security of the Kanekes people. This research aims to determine local wisdom, a determining factor in Urang Kanekes (Baduy) food security, and its contribution to food security in Lebak Regency and Banten Province. Using a mix-method for a qualitative approach to Urang Kanekes' local wisdom, producing the central system of huma rice farming, which is stored in Leuit, is local wisdom that plays a role in food security, and apart from farming, he sells honey, durian, brown sugar, and becomes a tour guide who visits Kanekes. The quantitative approach uses regression with Lebak Regency and provincial-level data. First, panel data regression for 28 subdistricts in Lebak Regency for 12 months from 2020-2021 shows that Leuwidamar Subdistrict, where Urang Kanekes is located, has a higher rice stock than the average for other subdistricts in Lebak Regency, for every month throughout the year. Second, multiple regression was applied to 4 food indices (security, availability, affordability, and usefulness) with data from 8 regencies/cities in Banten Province between 2018-2021. The research results show that local wisdom through farming and storing it in barns is an essential pillar of food availability for a community, in this case, the Urang Kanekes community, where food security at the community level will contribute to subsequent levels up to the national level.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi keuangan di kalangan pelajar menjadi isu penting yang berdampak pada perilaku konsumtif dan kurangnya perencanaan finansial sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa MA Miftahul Ulum Serang tentang manajemen keuangan pribadi dalam menghadapi tantangan era globalisasi. Program dirancang melalui pendekatan edukatif interaktif yang mencakup sosialisasi, diskusi kelompok, praktik pencatatan keuangan, dan simulasi pengelolaan uang saku. Metode ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan utama proses edukasi yang meliputi tahapan perencanaan kegiatan, tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan tahapan evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta hingga 78% dari kondisi awal, terutama pada aspek pencatatan keuangan (87,5%) dan menabung (90%). Sebagian besar peserta menyatakan mulai mencatat pengeluaran harian dan memiliki target menabung rutin. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mendorong terbentuknya komunitas "Remaja Cerdas Finansial" sebagai wadah keberlanjutan praktik literasi keuangan di lingkungan sekolah. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi antusiasme peserta, dukungan sekolah, serta materi yang kontekstual dan aplikatif. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi finansial berbasis pengalaman mampu mengubah sikap dan membentuk kebiasaan keuangan sehat di kalangan remaja. Program ini direkomendasikan untuk direplikasi secara lebih luas guna membangun generasi yang cerdas dan mandiri secara finansial di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat ketahanan ekonomi rumah tangga di Kota Serang dalam menghadapi inflasi dan kenaikan harga pangan, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kerentanan dan daya tahan ekonomi masyarakat. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei digunakan terhadap 150 rumah tangga di enam kecamatan di Kota Serang, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur dan dianalisis dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, serta regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar rumah tangga berada pada kategori ketahanan ekonomi sedang (45,3%) dan rendah (40,0%), dengan hanya 14,7% yang memiliki ketahanan tinggi. Analisis regresi mengungkapkan bahwa inflasi pangan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap ketahanan ekonomi (β = -0,342; p < 0,05), sedangkan pendapatan rumah tangga (β = 0,287), literasi keuangan (β = 0,215), dan diversifikasi usaha (β = 0,192) berpengaruh positif signifikan. Akses terhadap program pemerintah menunjukkan pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan (β = 0,083; p > 0,05). Nilai Adjusted R² sebesar 0,624 menandakan bahwa 62,4% variasi ketahanan ekonomi dijelaskan oleh variabel-variabel tersebut. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa faktor internal, terutama peningkatan pendapatan, literasi keuangan, dan diversifikasi usaha, lebih menentukan ketahanan ekonomi dibandingkan intervensi kebijakan eksternal. Dengan demikian, penguatan kapasitas rumah tangga dan perbaikan distribusi program pemerintah menjadi kunci dalam membangun ketahanan ekonomi yang tangguh dan berkelanjutan di Kota Serang.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the rapid adoption of Financial Technology (FinTech) among students, which has the potential to strengthen financial literacy and inclusion, but still leaves a gap between access and understanding of safe and responsible use. The objectives are to analyse the effect of FinTech usage on digital financial literacy and financial inclusion, assess the effect of literacy on inclusion, and examine the mediating role of literacy in the relationship between FinTech usage and inclusion. The method used is a cross-sectional quantitative survey of 150 students in South Jakarta using a Likert scale questionnaire, processed through descriptive statistics and SEM-PLS to test the structural model. The results show that: (1) FinTech usage has a positive and significant effect on digital financial literacy; (2) FinTech usage has a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion; (3) digital financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on inclusion; and (4) digital financial literacy significantly mediates the effect of FinTech usage on inclusion. These findings confirm the dual role of FinTech as a gateway to formal services and a vehicle for practical learning, with literacy as the key to safe, responsible, and sustainable financial participation among students. The implication is that the integration of digital payment literacy into the campus ecosystem and collaboration between universities, regulators, and industry need to be strengthened to improve the quality of financial inclusion.
