Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and leadership style on employee job satisfaction in hospitals in the city of Cimahi. This study used a descriptive verification approach, and 91 employees were sampled using multiple regression analysis assisted by SPSS 23 software. The primary data of this study were obtained from questionnaires and interviews. While secondary data is obtained through notes and publications as well as literature. The results showed that there was an influence between work environment variables and leadership style on employee job satisfaction at health service hospitals. The influence of the work environment has an influence on employee job satisfaction so that employees are committed and loyal to the organization. Meanwhile, a good leadership style can increase employee job satisfaction. This is also evidenced by the Adjusted R Square value of 0.571 or 57.1%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of transformational leadership and self-leadership on adaptive performance, as well as the mediating role of psychological empowerment during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. This research was conducted on employees of culinary SMEs in West Java by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data was then analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings of this study prove that transformational leadership and self-leadership have an influence on psychological empowerment, and that psychological empowerment has an influence on adaptive performance. It was also found that psychological empowerment mediates the effect of transformational leadership and self-leadership on adaptive performance. This study provides suggestions for businesses and organizations to manage and improve the adaptive performance of their employees during organizational crises.

Abstract

Anak dengan Down Syndrome memiliki tingkat intelektual rendah serta ciri fisik khas, namun setiap individu memiliki potensi dan karakteristik unik. Dukungan sosial yang optimal dari orang tua menjadi faktor penting dalam membantu anak-anak ini mencapai kemandirian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap anak Down Syndrome serta aspek-aspek kemandirian yang dapat dikembangkan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari orang tua dan anak dengan Down Syndrome di Kecamatan Kejuruan Muda, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dari orang tua, seperti pemberian perhatian, motivasi, dan pembelajaran keterampilan sehari-hari, sangat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemandirian anak. Dukungan ini disesuaikan dengan potensi dan karakteristik masing-masing anak, sehingga mereka mampu menjalankan aktivitas secara lebih mandiri, termasuk dalam aspek kebersihan diri, komunikasi, dan interaksi sosial. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam proses perkembangan anak dengan Down Syndrome untuk membantu mereka mengatasi keterbatasan dan mengoptimalkan kemampuan yang dimiliki.
