Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the principal's supervision of teachers in developing children's receptive language. The researcher used a qualitative case study approach. This research was conducted at RA Perwanida III, Paiton Probolinggo. The results showed that implementing the principal's supervision of teachers in developing receptive language at RA Perwanida III was as follows; first problem mapping, second perception equalization, third implementation of supervision activities, and fourth results and follow-up plans. This research implies that supervision must be carried out in a planned and systematic manner with continuous improvement.

Abstract

This research examines the role of madrasah leadership in implementing and sustaining the Excellent Qur'anic School program at MI Nurul Islam Labruk Kidul. The study addresses the challenge many educational programs face, particularly in Islamic institutions, in maintaining long-term success and impact. Given the importance of Qur'anic education in shaping students' academic and moral development, understanding the factors contributing to such programs' sustainability is crucial. This study adopts a qualitative case study approach, utilizing observations, interviews, and documentation analysis to explore how leadership strategies influence the effectiveness and longevity of Qur'anic education programs. The findings reveal that the head of the madrasah plays a central role in the program's success through effective leadership, strategic planning, and continuous evaluation. The study concludes that sustainable educational programs depend not solely on teaching methods but also on the leadership vision and practices that guide them. These findings have broader implications for madrasahs and other educational institutions, providing valuable insights into how leadership can foster long-lasting and impactful educational programs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the Strategies for Internalizing Religious Moderation Values as a Preventive Effort against Students’ Radicalism Understanding in Pesantren-Based Madrasahs in Islamic elementary education. Conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Syamsul Jinan Sumberjo Besuki, a pesantren-based school in a multicultural environment, the research adopts a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving school leaders, Islamic education teachers, and students in grades 4, 5, and 6. Findings reveal that key values such as tasamuh (tolerance), tawassuth (moderation), i’tidal (balance), and muwathanah (civic responsibility) are systematically embedded in formal learning, religious practices, and school culture. Teachers and principals play vital roles as role models and facilitators who promote inclusive dialogue and critical thinking. Contextual teaching methods—such as open discussion, case studies, and reflective practice—help students internalize these values beyond theoretical understanding. Extracurricular activities further support character formation by encouraging cooperation, leadership, and respect for diversity. However, implementation is challenged by the absence of specific instructional materials, limited teacher training in diversity education, and the influence of unregulated digital content that may expose students to radical narratives. The study concludes that MI Syamsul Jinan serves as a practical model of how pesantren-based education can integrate religious moderation to foster tolerant and peaceful generations.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and provide a deeper understanding of the Transformation of Kiai Leadership Based on Servant Leadership: A Strategy for Building Students’ Solidarity and Teamwork. To obtain research data, a qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. The study was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Subulus Salam Pajarakan Probolinggo from June to September 2025. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that Transformation of Kiai Leadership Based on Servant Leadership: A Strategy for Building Students’ Solidarity and Teamwork at Pondok Pesantren Subulus Salam Pajarakan Probolinggo is implemented through transformative leadership, collective leadership, competence in Islamic religious education, spiritual guidance, and the exemplary role model of the kiai.

Abstract

Kualitas pengelolaan pendidikan sangat ditentukan oleh peran kunci semua pihak, mulai dari guru dan kepala sekolah hingga orang tua, tetangga, dan pemerintah setempat. Penyatuan langkah antara unsur internal dan eksternal jadi syarat supaya suasana belajar jadi ramah, kreatif, dan pas untuk kebutuhan siswa. Bila mereka aktif merancang, menjalankan, dan mengukur program, dukungan moral, dana, dan keahlian yang diberi dapat membantu semua target pendidikan tercapai. Keterlibatan bersama itu tampak pada banyak hal, seperti pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional guru, partisipasi orang tua dalam kegiatan sekolah, serta bantuan masyarakat untuk penyediaan sarana belajar. Keberhasilan sering muncul bila komunikasi jelas, rasa memiliki tinggi, dan semua orang berkolaborasi menyusun serta menjalankan visi dan misi pendidikan. Meski begitu, tantangan tetap ada, antara lain lemahnya partisipasi, terbatasnya sumber daya, dan sikap coba-coba yang muncul saat perubahan dimulai. Pendidikan yang baik dan tahan lama hanya dapat terwujud melalui kerja sama yang sinergis dari semua pihak yang peduli-pemerintah, sekolah, keluarga, serta masyarakat. Apabila setiap pihak mau memberdayakan satu sama lain dan berkolaborasi secara nyata, sistem pendidikan akan menjadi lebih adaptif, inovatif, dan berkualitas. Singkatnya, keberhasilan peningkatan mutu pendidikan bergantung pada komitmen dan partisipasi aktif setiap orang yang terlibat di ekosistem sekolah.
