Abstract

This study aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice by examining the strategic management approach applied to improve the quality of education through teacher and staff management under the IASP 2020 framework at the madrasah tsanawiyah level. Using qualitative methods, this study collected data through in-depth interviews and participant observation. The findings of this study revealed that strategic management significantly improved the quality of education by encouraging professional development among teachers and staff, improving their managerial and pedagogical skills. This improvement was directly correlated with increased student achievement and engagement. However, this study also identified challenges such as resource constraints and resistance to change, suggesting that continuous capacity building and adaptive policy adjustments are essential. This study contributes to the existing literature by providing practical insights into effective strategic management in education, emphasizing the need for continued support from policymakers to ensure successful implementation. The findings are expected to offer a model for other schools aiming to improve educational outcomes through strategic human resource management.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of teacher and education personnel management in improving the quality of education at MTsN 3 Subang based on the 2020 Education Unit Accreditation Instrument (IASP). This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of the management of teachers and education personnel in improving the quality of education. The research methods used include interviews, observations and documentation studies with samples of teachers, madrasah heads and education personnel. The findings show that transparent management in recruitment, regular coaching and objective performance appraisal contribute significantly to improving the quality of education. Adaptive and innovative management encourages madrasahs to become pioneers in various educational innovations. The contribution of this research provides an effective management model that can be adopted by other madrasahs to improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This study highlights the integration of digital technology into the academic management system of pesantren, focusing on the implementation of a website-based report card system (website rapor) in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Kasomalang. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation process, challenges, and supporting factors influencing its success. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving pesantren leaders, teachers, IT staff, and parents. The findings show that the website rapor improves efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing academic records. Despite this, challenges such as resistance to change among teachers and financial limitations emerged. Key supporting factors include leadership support, competent IT teams, and increased awareness of the technology’s benefits among stakeholders. This study concludes that successful integration of digital systems in pesantren requires alignment with institutional culture and operational readiness while addressing both technical and human resource challenges. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini menyoroti integrasi teknologi digital ke dalam sistem manajemen akademik pesantren, dengan fokus pada implementasi sistem rapor berbasis situs web (website rapor) di Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Kasomalang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis proses implementasi, tantangan, dan faktor pendukung yang mempengaruhi keberhasilannya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan pimpinan pesantren, guru, staf IT, dan orang tua murid. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa rapor online meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas dalam mengelola catatan akademik. Meskipun demikian, tantangan seperti resistensi terhadap perubahan di antara para guru dan keterbatasan keuangan muncul. Faktor-faktor pendukung utama termasuk dukungan kepemimpinan, tim TI yang kompeten, dan peningkatan kesadaran akan manfaat teknologi di antara para pemangku kepentingan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi sistem digital yang sukses di pesantren membutuhkan keselarasan dengan budaya lembaga dan kesiapan operasional sambil mengatasi tantangan teknis dan sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the practices of placement, career development and employee welfare at MA PP Darussalam Kasomalang, and to examine their impact on work effectiveness and the quality of the organisational environment. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research involved educators, administrative staff, and management as research subjects. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis, then analysed thematically to identify relevant patterns. The results showed that employee placement based on a match between individual competencies and organisational needs contributed to increased productivity and job satisfaction. The career development programme implemented, although still limited, is able to encourage employee motivation and loyalty. Meanwhile, employee well-being, which includes physical, psychological and work-life balance aspects, plays an important role in maintaining retention and creating a harmonious working environment. The relationship between placement, career development and employee welfare proved significant in supporting the achievement of the institution's overall goals. This research makes a practical contribution to human resource management in educational institutions by recommending more structured strategies in employee placement, provision of comprehensive career development programmes, and improved welfare policies.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has encouraged educational institutions to adopt information technology to enhance efficiency and transparency, one of which is through the use of student registration websites. This study aims to evaluate user satisfaction and the effectiveness of the student registration website in the new student admission process at Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Kasomalang Subang West Java. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving observations and interviews with the primary users of the website, namely prospective students and parents. The results indicate that while users are satisfied with the ease of access and information transparency, there are some challenges related to access speed and dependence on internet connectivity. Furthermore, the registration website has been proven to improve data efficiency and accuracy, although it still requires technical improvements to optimize its functionality. These findings contribute to the literature on the application of technology in education, particularly in managing student registration administration. Practically, this research provides recommendations for Islamic educational institutions to continue improving web-based information systems to be more responsive and efficient.
