Objective: This study is to systematically examine the laws and guidelines of mutual understanding through social media from the perspective of Islamic law, in response to the rapid development of economic and social interaction on digital platforms. Theoretical framework: this research is based on sharia principles taken from the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as Islamic ethical values such as honesty (shidq), Amanah, tabayyun, and clarity of the contract. Literature review: This research includes primary sources such as the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as secondary sources in the form of jurisprudence, scientific articles, MUI fatwas, and laws and regulations relevant to digital muamalah. Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach with the library research method, through an in-depth analysis of literature related to Islamic law and interaction on social media. Results: This study shows that muamalah through social media is permissible in Islam as long as it does not contradict sharia principles such as the prohibition of riba, gharar, maysir, and tadlis. This research also emphasizes the importance of applying Islamic ethics in digital interactions. Implications: This study highlights the need to increase education about digital fiqh muamalah fiqh, collaboration between scholars, the government, and digital platforms, as well as the preparation of regulations that are adaptive to technological developments to minimize sharia violations on social media. Novelty: this research lies in the systematization of comprehensive sharia guidelines in muamalah on social media, which can be a practical reference for Muslims in interacting digitally responsibly and by religious teachings.

Abstract

Abstract

Fraud and corruption in the procurement of government goods and services remain major contributors to the level of corruption in Indonesia. Transparency and accountability are key principles in reducing fraud and corruption in the procurement process. The government currently mandates the implementation of e-purchasing for goods and services related to meeting national and/or strategic needs as determined by the minister, head of an agency, or regional head. In addition to increasing transparency and accountability, e-purchasing is expected to enhance efficiency and reduce transaction costs. However, in practice, the e-purchasing process has not yet been ideally implemented according to legal standards. Therefore, this research aims to examine the transaction process in e-purchasing from the perspective of fiqh muamalah and the issues surrounding the implementation of e-purchasing. This research is aimed at assessing and finding common ground between the e-purchasing mechanism for government procurement of goods and services and the principles of fiqh muamalah. This research is a literature study with a qualitative approach, in which the researcher gathers various information regarding the electronic procurement of government goods and services, then aligns it with the concepts in fiqh muamalah. The transaction mechanism in e-purchasing resembles that of online buying and selling, and its original ruling is permissible (mubah) as long as it does not violate Islamic law. Generally, the contracts used in these transactions are the bai' salam and ijarah contracts.

Abstract

Increasingly, industry observers are saying that “renting clothes is a great way to implement sustainable fashioncampaigns” which reflects the views held towards rental platforms (Amasawa et al., 2023). Renting clothes is a long-term life cycle that can be utilized in minimizing clothing waste even if it is only a small-scale clothing rental. This research aims to explore the implementation of ijarah muqayyadah contract in clothing rental as a solution for sustainable fashion from an Islamic economic perspective. The research method used is qualitative, with an observation approach, literature study, and short interviews. The case study was conducted at Abra Gallery, a clothing rental business in Balikpapan. The results show that the ijarah contract in clothing rental is able to support the maqashid sharia principle which emphasizes the balance between fulfilling human needs and preserving the environment. Clothing rental reduces the negative impact of the fashion industry on the environment by reducing the production of new clothes and extending the life cycle of clothes. These findings support the importance of implementing ijarah contracts in supporting sustainable fashion as part of the green economy movement that is in line with Islamic economic principles.
