Abstract

Malware has emerged as a significant concern for computer system security, as it spreads rapidly and adversely affects system performance. Detecting malware has become crucial, and one of the methods utilized is Machine Learning classification, which learns the characteristics of an application without executing it. In this study, the author evaluates the efficacy of malware detection in the static analysis of Windows Portable Executable (PE) files using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest algorithms. The author employs a dataset containing both malware-related PE files and safe applications to train the SVM and Random Forest models to classify PE files as either malware or safe. The objective is to determine the most effective machine learning algorithm for malware detection in PE files. The research compares the performance of both algorithms to identify the superior one for malware detection. The results indicate that the Random Forest algorithm achieves an impressive accuracy of 98.53%, while the SVM algorithm performs slightly lower with an accuracy of 97.14%.

Abstract

Pengembangan frontend dalam proyek dengan menggunakan metode Iterative Incremental Model, khususnya dalam penggunaan fitur blade pada Laravel, merupakan salah satu solusi yang membantu secara konsisten dalam proses pengerjaan antarmuka pengguna. Dalam proyek seperti Villager Financial Controlling, penekanan pada frontend sangat penting dalam menciptakan antarmuka yang menarik dan fungsional. Metode Iterative Incremental Model memfasilitasi konsistensi dengan memungkinkan perbaikan berkelanjutan dan identifikasi dini terhadap masalah. Fitur blade pada framework Laravel, sebagai bagian dari pengembangan UI, memberikan kerangka kerja yang kuat untuk membangun antarmuka yang responsif dan terstruktur. Abstract

In the evolving landscape of digital media, 2D animation has emerged as a dynamic tool for cultural preservation, particularly among university students who are increasingly engaging in creative practices that reflect their cultural identities. This study explores how cultural values are represented in local 2D animation works produced by Indonesian students. The research is grounded in the context of the rising importance of culturally informed media content as a means of transmitting tradition to younger audiences in the face of globalization. Employing a qualitative exploratory approach through literature study and content analysis, the research draws on primary data in the form of student-produced animations retrieved from digital platforms and portfolios, and secondary data from academic literature. The study focuses on visual and narrative elements such as costumes, symbols, traditional folklore, character design, and storyline themes that are embedded with local values. Findings reveal that while most student works demonstrate high motivation to preserve cultural heritage and communicate moral messages, there exists a significant variance in the depth of cultural representation. Elements like batik patterns, traditional dances, and folklore-based narratives are visually present, but often lack contextual integration or symbolic depth. Despite these limitations, some animations successfully blend tradition with contemporary issues such as environmental awareness and identity politics, reflecting critical engagement. The study underscores the importance of fostering cultural literacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and curriculum development in art and animation education to enhance cultural authenticity in student works.

Abstract

Permainan Tower Defense merupakan permainan yang berjenis strategi yang membuat permainannya memiliki kesulitan tersendiri di setiap tingakatannya. Dalam pengembangan ini, permainan yang sedang dirancang membutuhkan beberapa aspek seperti membuat konsep, desain, pengumpulan bahan, perakitan, pengujian dan juga distribusi. Dalam pembuatan permainan juga dibutuhkan pemantapan dan pengujian fitur dan fungsionalitas permainan yang baik yang bertujuan untuk memberikan kepuasan bagi para pemain. Permainan sendiri membutuhkan alat yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengembangan, di mana alat yang di gunakan dalam pengembangan ini adalah Unity Game Engine, yang cocok digunakan untuk pengembang pemula dan terdapat komunitas yang luas. Dalam pengembangan permainan, metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) cocok untuk digunakan dalam melakukan pengembangan dikarenakan permainan sendiri termasuk kategori multimedia yang berjenis multimedia interaktif. Proses dalam metode MDLC sudah meliputi semua tahapan pengembangan permainan yang dibutuhkan. Tahapan pengembangan MDLC cocok untuk pengembang skala kecil yang target hasil keluaran permainannya masih berupa versi beta.Kata kunci— Pengembangan permainan, Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC).
