Abstract

This article aims to provide insight into epistemology for how to construct new knowledge based on the views of realism and anti-realism in one of the modern physical theories of dualism of light. This article presents views on the theory of dualism of light starting from the epistemology of light, light as a wave, light as a particle and light dualism. The method used in this study is a critical literature review, which is a type of critical review to analyze and evaluate many sources on the topic of modern physics, especially dualism of light and its epistemological philosophy to construct knowledge of dualism of light, a comparison of realism versus antirealism about the dualism of light. The result is that in constructing new knowledge, the view of anti-realism does not necessarily fall away and produces a new view of realism. It can be seen from the dualism of light, in constructing knowledge, the anti-realist view with its theory (classical physics) is not necessarily wrong and fails when there is a new theory from the view of realism (modern physics). even from this case, philosophically the theory that is formed from the views or facts of empirical results forms new facts and the theory applies the power of theory as a bridge.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Islamic economic principles in financial management at Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) UGT Nusantara. In the era of globalization, Islamic financial institutions are becoming increasingly relevant, particularly in providing ethical and sustainable financial access. This research aims to explore the application of Islamic principles such as justice, transparency, and the prohibition of usury, as well as the challenges faced in financial management practices. The research employs a qualitative approach with an in-depth literature analysis. The findings indicate that BMT UGT Nusantara has effectively implemented Islamic principles, although it still faces challenges related to customer understanding and frequently changing regulations. Additionally, BMT plays a significant role in empowering the community through training and mentoring programs aimed at enhancing the skills and capacities of its clients. This research is expected to provide significant contributions to the development of microfinance institutions in Indonesia and to increase public understanding of the importance of financial management in accordance with Islamic principles. These findings can serve as a reference for other institutions in effectively implementing Islamic principles.

Abstract

Inflation, or the general rise in prices, is a big problem that can really hurt a country's economy. For Indonesia, a developing nation, keeping inflation under control is super important for steady economic growth and helping people get out of poverty. This study looks closely at how Bank Indonesia (our central bank) uses its policies to keep inflation in check and make sure our currency, the Rupiah, stays stable. We also explore how inflation affects Islamic banking, where fair and clear transactions depend on a stable currency. To do this research, we used a "literature review" method, which means we carefully read and analyzed many relevant books, journals, and reports. Our findings show that the central bank plays a vital role in fighting inflation by using tools like setting interest rates, buying and selling government securities (open market operations), and telling banks how much money they need to keep as reserves. The success of these policies depends on how much people trust the central bank, what's happening with the economy both locally and globally, and how well the central bank works with the government's financial policies. Basically, this research helps us better understand how our central bank keeps our money stable and helps our economy grow.
