Abstract

Hypertension is a systolic pressure above 140 mmHg and a diastolic pressure above 90 mmHg. Hypertension is called the silent killer because it is one that can be deadly without being accompanied by symptoms first as a warning. The risk of developing hypertension increases with age. Around 2 out of 3 elderly people are estimated to suffer from hypertension. This community service activity aims to provide health improvement education about hypertension in the elderly. The method used in this activity is a pre-post test without a control group. Sampling technique with a total sampling of 10 samples. The instrument used was a knowledge level questionnaire. The results obtained before health education were carried out with poor knowledge were 6 (60%) elderly people, sufficient knowledge was 3 (30%) elderly people, and good knowledge was 1 (10%) elderly person. After being given education, the level of knowledge of the elderly became good knowledge for 7 (70%) elderly people, moderate knowledge for 3 (30%) elderly people. The results after being given education can be seen that the respondents' knowledge has increased and this method is effective in increasing the knowledge of the elderly.

Abstract

The impact of the eruption can result in morbidity and mortality rates, especially in the most high-risk groups, namely children and the elderly who have physical and mental limitations. According to BPBD data in 2023, there have been 774 cases of natural disasters in the form of volcanic eruptions in Indonesia. The impact of disasters on vulnerable groups, namely pregnant women and the elderly, is more severe than other age groups. The methodology in this activity is to measure the level of knowledge before and after being given education about disaster preparedness for the eruption of Mount Merapi for the elderly and pregnant women. In this community service activity, the results obtained before the education were given with knowledge lacking as many as 21 (60%) people, sufficient as many as 9 (25.7%) people, and good as many as 5 (14.3%) people. After being given education, the level of knowledge of respondents increased with knowledge lacking as many as 3 (8.6%) people, sufficient as many as 5 (14.3%) people, and good as many as 27 (77.1%) people. Conclusion: The results after the education can be seen that the respondents' knowledge has increased and this method is considered effective in increasing respondents' knowledge.

Abstract

Pernikahan dini merupakan pernikahan yang dilakukan oleh seseorang yang memiliki umur relatif muda yaitu dibawah 20 tahun. Data menunjukan persentase menikah dibawah 20 tahun sebanyak 25%. Risiko pernikahan dini atau dibawah umur disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti : ekonomi, sosial budaya dan kehamilan diluar nikah dan remaja yang menikah dini kehilangan kesempatan untuk mengeyam pendidikan formal untuk kemajuan setelah kehamilan dan persalinan terutama karena meningkatnya tanggung jawab rumah tangga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan remaja tentang risiko pernikahan dini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi 220 responden menggunakan tekhnik Purposive Sampling yang berjumlah 141 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan bahwa responden di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara diketahui karakteristik usia responden rata−rata usia responden adalah 16,5 tahun, usia minimal 15 tahun dan usia maksimal 17 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil karakteristik jenis kelamin responden mayoritas jenis kelamin perempuan 105 responden (74,5%) dan Jenis kelamin laki-laki 35 responden (25,5%). Berdasarkan hasil karakteristik pengetahuan remaja tentang risiko pernikahan dini responden didapatkan bahwa responden berpengetahuan baik 67 responden (47,5%), berpengetahuan cukup 60 responden (42,6%) dan berpengetahuan kurang 14 responden (9,9%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini yang didapatkan data bahwa di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara terkait Gambaran Pengetahuan Remaja Tentang Risiko Pernikahan Dini didapatkan hasil bahwa sebagian besar remaja di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang Risiko pernikahan dini.
