Abstract

Environmental problems continue to grow and become more complex over time. One of the problems that occurs is the number of puddles on village roads due to increasingly low water absorption space. In this case, based on a survey in Wonotirto Village, another problem arises, namely that waste processing, especially organic waste, is still not maximally utilized. In general, people in Wonotirto Village dispose of organic waste in their yards and burn it. The approach method used to find out the problems in this service activity includes interviews and observations in the field. The training on making biopore infiltration holes (BIH) can be used as a medium for making organic fertilizer. That way this program aims to educate and increase public understanding of groundwater infiltration holes and the use of organic waste for the environment. Community service activities in the form of socialization and training in making Biopore Infiltration Holes (BIH) and utilizing organic waste as fertilizer. The results of the activity were the installation of two biopore infiltration holes at Wonotirto Village Hall and training in making liquid fertilizer from leftover rice washing water. Making Biopore Infiltration Holes (LRB) can increase the amount of water infiltration and get the benefits of organic waste to fertilize the soil. During the rainy season, Biopore Infiltration Holes (BIH) can prevent flooding and can accommodate water sources. Making liquid fertilizer from leftover rice washing water can utilize household liquid waste and save money on fertilizer purchases.

Abstract

Banjarnegara’s culinary center, a hub for MSME growth, faces parking inefficiencies due to inadequate planning, risking visitor discomfort and revenue loss. Despite regional infrastructure investments, parking capacity remains unstudied for future scalability. This research analyzes current parking capacity, evaluates user satisfaction, and designs an optimized layout to address projected demand. Field observations (17–23 February 2025) tracked vehicle volume, accumulation, and duration, while surveys (325 respondents) assessed safety/satisfaction. Data were analyzed using SRP metrics, SPSS validity/reliability tests, and AutoCAD simulations for parking patterns. The existing 18-SRP capacity was overwhelmed (peak: 28 vehicles, index: 150%). A 90° angled layout increased capacity to 22 SRPs. Surveys confirmed validity (r-calculated > r-table) and reliability (α=0.936), with 60% of respondents citing inadequate space. Projections show capacity deficits by 2028. Urgent adoption of the 90° pattern and tech-based solutions (e.g., sensors) is recommended to align with Banjarnegara’s e-parking policies and support sustainable tourism growth.

Abstract

A common construction problem is delays in project implementation. Delays on the project will affect the cost of the project. Seeing this incident, this study will analyze the acceleration of project time on the Road Construction project Simp. 4 Kaliorang - Kalisayan using the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) using Microsoft Project 2010 software, so that jobs are on the critical path. The work that is on the critical path will be crashing with the method of adding working hours (overtime), and adding tools, the final result of the two alternative crashing will be a change in the acceleration of the duration of a project at an optimal cost. From the results of time and cost optimization research with the crashing method on the road construction project simp. 4 kaliorang - talisayan using the alternative of additional working hours (overtime) for 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, and 6 hours and the second alternative with variations in the addition of tools and energy by 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the total equipment and normal power obtained the final result of the most optimum alternative of the two alternatives is the alternative of adding tools and energy by 100% of the number of normal tools and energy, the crash duration is 91 days from the normal duration of 135 days or an acceleration of duration of 44 days, with a total cost of Rp. 10,825,046,816.96 from the normal total cost of Rp. 10,868,916,625,88 or a decrease in total costs of 0.40%. Abstract
