Abstract

Early childhood education is the most important and most important thing. However, teaching early childhood requires various good and correct teaching models because children at this age easily get bored with learning. This kind of learning which is a problem for the teaching and learning process of early childhood is monotonous learning which occurs when the teacher only explains and takes notes and requires young children to actively take notes and just listen. Therefore, the author suggests a method that is good and suitable for use in teaching early childhood, namely the cooperative learning model in pairs. This learning model aims to make young children active positively, such as actively asking questions, actively discussing, and having the desire to learn because they have study friends. In accordance with the explanation above, the aim of this study is to explain how to implement the cooperative learning model in early childhood learning. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data collection techniques through books and journal articles related to problems raised by the author as references. So the results obtained from the cooperative learning model in pairs can be implemented easily for young children and at the same time also improve children's cognitive abilities and increase children's ability to adapt to their friends.

Abstract

Guru adalah seorang pendidik yang memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk individu menjadi sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas untuk kemajuan negara. Sosok manusia kecil yang menjadi cikal bakal sumber manusia yang berkualitas adalah anak usia dini yang berada pada rentang usia 0-6 tahun, yang tentunya memiliki perilaku yang unik. Dalam hal ini, peran guru dalam membentuk individu-individu kecil ini menjadi sosok yang matang dan berkualitas memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mendeskripsikan pentingnya profesionalisme guru PAUD Kristen dalam membentuk karakter anak usia dini. Metode penulisan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode kajian pustaka. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui buku, artikel jurnal, dan situs website internet. Adapun hasil kajian ini adalah guru PAUD Kristen harus mencerminkan karakter Kristus dalam mendidik, membimbing, mengarahkan, dan memonitoring anak sehingga memiliki karakter seperti Kristus pula. Dengan demikian, guru dituntut profesional dalam dalam menghadapi berbagai perilaku anak pada proses pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

This research highlights the significance of leadership in the spiritual growth of the congregation within the context of the Indonesian Christian Holy Church (GKKI) in Jabodetabek. The correlation analysis results indicate that Shepherd Leadership holds a substantial relationship with Spiritual Growth (correlation coefficient = 0.693, Sig < 0.1). These findings demonstrate that the comprehension and execution of vision and mission by a spiritual leader have a considerable impact on enhancing the quantity of faith among the congregation. This study suggests that spiritual leaders need to have a thorough understanding of their roles and responsibilities in order to lead effectively, mitigate conflicts, and shepherd competently. Furthermore, the research findings shed light on challenges faced by the congregation, such as difficulties in spiritual growth. This research makes a significant contribution to understanding the dynamics of spiritual leadership within the GKKI context in Jabodetabek.

Abstract

Indonesia stands firm in its democratic values and respects its presidential election in 2024. However, the scent of the history of identity politics still lingers and threatens the harmony of voting. Even though identity politics seem to be a common and acceptable method, it bears danger, especially to Christians as a minority. This can happen through the burdens and biases of Christians to vote. Through descriptive literature methods of biblical perspective with contextual interpretation alongside political reviews and literature, this paper tries to answer the question of how a Christian should vote for their future leader amidst the pressure of identity politics. The Bible can be a clear guideline to show that such political events and methods had already occurred in the Old Testament and New Testament eras. The wisdom contained in the Proverbs that was intended for future young leaders, as well as the wisdom of Jesus Christ, can help shape the answer on how a Christian should vote for their future leaders. This paper finds that Christians as minorities should try to be objective following biblical standards and the quality of a leader, such as righteousness, multiple councils, servanthood, and accountability, rather than drowning in misconceptions of defensive and subjective votes based on religion-ethnicity sameness or popular opinion.
