Abstract

Servant Leadership is a leadership approach that focuses on service to others. The main characteristics of servant leadership are explained in detail, including a focus on service to Team members and the communities served, the ability to understand and feel the experiences of others, as well as the concepts of leadership by example, empowerment, focus on growth and development, building strong relationships, and collaborative decision making. Apart from that, this text describes the implementation of servant leadership at LKP Quali International Surabaya (QIS) along with the results achieved, including improving the quality of the institution and the awards obtained. Effective implementation of servant leadership has played an important role in creating an inclusive work environment, empowering Team members, and encouraging more holistic and sustainable decision making at LKP QIS. Thus, this text provides a systematic overview of the concept of servant leadership and its positive influence in educational institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan metode Total Physical Response (TPR) dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MTs Al Munawwir, dengan fokus pada siswa kelas satu. Metode TPR, yang mengintegrasikan gerakan fisik dengan instruksi verbal, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kosakata dan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Desain eksperimental digunakan dengan melibatkan dua kelompok siswa: satu kelompok menggunakan TPR dan kelompok lainnya menggunakan metode tradisional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TPR secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman bahasa Arab siswa, meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif mereka dalam kelas, dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih menyenangkan. Faktor-faktor pendukung dalam implementasi TPR termasuk keterlibatan siswa yang tinggi dan dukungan dari guru, sementara tantangan meliputi keterbatasan waktu dan fasilitas. Rekomendasi untuk peningkatan metode pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MTs mencakup integrasi TPR yang lebih luas dalam kurikulum, pelatihan guru, dan penyesuaian jadwal pelajaran untuk memaksimalkan efektivitas metode ini.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze publication trends related to the use of technology in Arabic language education from 2008 to 2024. In today's fast-growing digital age, information and communication technology (ICT) has become an integral component in many aspects of life, including in the field of education. The integration of ICT in Arabic language education offers great potential for improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning methods. The method used in this research is bibliometric analysis, which allows researchers to evaluate and mapp publication patterns in this field in depth. Data was collected through searches of documents with the keyword "arabic language education technology" in various academic databases, including journal articles, books, and conference proceedings, which resulted in a total of 23 relevant documents. The analysis is done using the Mendeley Desktop and VOSviewer applications to visualize and analyze the situation and identify the dominant themes in the publication. Research results show that the use of ICT in Arabic language education has had a significant impact on the teaching methods used. Technology has increased the flexibility and accessibility of learning materials, as well as creating a more interactive and attractive learning environment for students. The study also highlights the importance of Arabic proficiency among non-Arabic speakers, especially in countries with a large Muslim population, and emphasizes the need to develop innovative teaching methods.Furthermore, the findings highlight the urgent need for better training for educators to make optimal use of technology. This research provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and technology developers in their efforts to improve the quality of Arabic language teaching in the future. By understanding trends and developments in the use of technology, stakeholders can design and implement learning strategies that are more effective and responsive to student needs.

Abstract

Abstracts This article presents a bibliometric analysis of literature related to Arabic language courses and skills training, with the aim of understanding trends, patterns, and developments in research in this field from 1943 to 2024. The method of bibliometric analysis is used to identify topics that are most studied, as well as journalists and authors who are influential in the context of Arabic language learning. The data was obtained from the Publish or Perish and Google Scholar databases, which produced 136 papers consisting of journal articles, conference proceedings, and books. Furthermore, the research reveals the need to develop training programmes that are more effective and relevant to the needs of the community. These findings provide valuable insights for educational practitioners and policymakers in designing curricula that fit the developments of the times. Thus, this article not only describes research developments in the field of Arabic language courses and training, but also identifies gaps in existing literature, as well as provides recommendations for future research and educational practice.
