Abstract

The advancement of technology is continuously improving. Technology has been employed by several entities to streamline their operations, including the realm of education. Technology-based curriculum involves integrating hardware and software products into the curriculum to enhance the learning process for students and improve the effectiveness and enjoyment of education. Given that the curriculum is the primary element of education, its advancement in tandem with technology should facilitate the attainment of curriculum objectives, encompassing learning outcomes, instructional approaches, and the provision of educational resources and evaluations. The purpose of this study was to investigate the integration of technology into the curriculum of Islamic Religious Education. Regarding the methodology, the author employed the research library using a qualitative approach, which included a description and analysis of the research findings, as well as other supporting literature from books and scientific journals as writing components. The findings emphasise the importance of integrating technologies into the Islamic Religious Education curriculum, taking into account its relevance and effectiveness in the digital age. Due to its numerous benefits such as increased student involvement and improved accessibility, educational technology holds great potential for enhancing the quality of instruction in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Following the Mongols and Timurids, the Safavids emerged as a significant Islamic empire in Iran. Initially, they were a Sufi tariqah led by Sheikh Safi al-Din, a Kurdish Sufi. Over time, this tariqah evolved into a dominant dynastic power, taking advantage of the decline of the Timurid regimes. In 1501 AD, Shah Ismail established the Safavid Empire in Persia, legitimizing it by adopting Shia Istna Asy'ariyah as the state religion. In Tabriz, he proclaimed himself the first king of the Safavid dynasty. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature review, drawing from international history books and reputable journals, to analyze the Safavid Empire’s phases and governance. The findings highlight that the empire's success was largely due to its military strength, notably improved under Shah Abbas I, who built a formidable army and recruited former Christian prisoners as ghulam soldiers. Although the Safavid Sultanate thrived during Shah Abbas I's reign with significant political and administrative reforms, his successors could not match his leadership, leading the empire to the brink of collapse.AbstrakSetelah Mongol dan Timuriyah, Safawi sebagai imperium Islam juga mulai menguasai Iran. Sebelum menjadi kesultanan yang berpengaruh besar di Iran, Safawiyah merupakan sebuah gerakan tarekat. Syekh Safi al-Din merupakan penggagas sekaligus pemimpin gerakan tarekat Safawiyah. Ia merupakan seorang sufi yang berasal dari suku Kurdi. Namun, seiring berjalannya waktu gerakan tarekat ini berubah menjadi kekuatan dinasti baru di Iran yang kelak akan berhasil menguasai Iran hampir se abad lamanya. Safawiyah berhasil mengambil kesempatan atas hancurnya rezim Timuriyah. Shah Ismail berhasil mengesahkan Kesultanan Safawi yang didirkannya di Persia pada tahun 1501 M. dengan mengadopsi Syiah Istna Asyariah sebagai ideologi negara. Di Kota Tabriz, Syah Ismail mendeklarasika diri sebagai raja pertama Dinasti Safawi yang dikenal dengan Ismail. Mengenai pendekatan yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode riset kepustakaan yang menggunakan beberapa buku sejarah internasional serta jurnal-jurnal bereputasi sebagai referensi dan komponen pendukung penulisan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui analisa fase dan sistem pemerintahan Kesultanan Safawi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan yang dilalui oleh pemerintahan Kesultanan Safawi berpatokan pada angkatan bersenjata dimana langkah pertama yang disiapkan oleh Syah Abbas sebagai sultan yang mencapai kesuksesan ialah tentara yang kuat. Bahkan Kesultnan Safawi menjadikan bekas tawanan perang orang Kristen sebagai tentara dengan julukan ghulam. Setelah Kesultanan Safawi mencapai puncak kesuksesan di masa Sultan Syah Abbas I banyak sekali perbaikan yang dilakukannya dalam dunia politik dan pemerintaan kerajaan. Namun setelah Syah Abbas I wafat, tidak ditemukan sultan yang mampu memimpin secakap Syah Abbas I sehingga membawa Kesultanan Safawi diambang kehancuran.

Abstract

Abstract There is a suku named Suku Tengger in the Gunung Bromo area. Upacara Unan-Unan is a traditional wedding custom originating from the Tengger Suku, which is held in the vicinity of Gunung Bromo, Jawa Timur. Gunung Bromo is referred to as the Suku Tengger suci. The Unan-Unan is a crucial aspect of the Tengger Bromo people's daily life that strengthens their bond with the surrounding water, especially with Gunung Bromo. The research team used the pustaka method in this study. The investigators used relevant sources such as reputable journals, history books, and a few easily cited media sources. The purpose of this study is to understand the many modes of moderation in the traditional beliefs of the Suku Tengger people. The researcher formulates a question based on the philosophy of the Unan-unan, the notion of moderation in general, and the nature of the nilai moderation in general in the Upacara Unan-unan. The conclusion drawn from this research is that there are some moderate beliefs about many religions in the traditional Upacara Unan-unan, which are composed of social, tolerable, and religious beliefs. In the play, Unan-unan does not mention any differences and is quite gentle. Furthermore, it is important to recognize that tolerance and compassion are universal values shared by all religions, including Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, and Shingon. They constantly compare, evaluate, and contrast one another, thus these rules need to be followed no matter what. Abstrak Di kawasan Gunung Bromo terdapat sebuah suku yang bernama Suku Tengger. Upacara Unan-Unan merupakan sebuah tradisi budaya yang berasal dari Suku Tengger yang tinggal di sekitar Gunung Bromo, Jawa Timur. Gunung Bromo dianggap sebagai kawasan suci Suku Tengger. Upacara Unan-Unan merupakan nilai penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat Tengger Bromo dalam mencerminkan hubungan mereka dengan alam sekitar khusunya dengan Gunung Bromo. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kajian pustaka. Peneliti menggunakan bahan-bahan pustaka yang relevan seperti jurnal bereputasi, buku-buku sejarah dan beberapa media yang layak dijadikan referensi. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam tradisi unan-unan masyarakat Suku Tengger. Peneliti membuat rumusan masalah yang terdiri dari bagaimana filosofi Upacara Unan-unan, bagaimana konsep moderasi beragama, dan bagaimana jejak nilai moderasi beragama dalam Upacara Unan-unan. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam tradisi Upacara Unan-unan yang terdiri dari nilai sosial, nilai toleransi, dan nilai agama. Dalam upacara Unan-unan tidak mengenal adanya sebuah perbedaan dan saling merendahkan. Melainkan, sangat menjunjung tinggi toleransi dan kerukunan baik dari agama Islam, Hindu, Buddha, maupun Kristen memiliki nilai yang sama. Mereka saling menghargai, meghormati, dan menyayangi satu sama lain, yang mana nilai-nilai ini harus tetap dilestarikan sampai kapan pun.

Abstract

This research explores the application of gamification technology in teaching Al-Qur'an Hadith at Islamic Senior High School 1 Probolinggo City. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of gamification on students' learning motivation and participation. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that integrating gamification technology into Al-Qur'an Hadith learning can enhance students' motivation and participation. While gamification is often applied in science and technical subjects, this research focuses on religious education, particularly Al-Qur'an Hadith, which is often perceived as less engaging by students, offering novelty in applying gamification technology in a different context. The results show that gamification can create an interactive and enjoyable learning environment, even in religious subjects like Al-Qur'an Hadith, significantly increasing students' motivation and participation in the learning process. Gamification engages students with game elements such as points, levels, and challenges, making learning more appealing. However, this study also highlights the importance of teacher preparation and adequate infrastructure to ensure the effective application of gamification technology. For a more engaging learning experience, it is crucial that teachers are trained to integrate this technology into their lesson plans. In conclusion, while gamification offers significant pedagogical benefits, it should complement, not replace, the essential role of teachers. A balance between technology and human interaction is vital for the success of a gamified learning environment.
