Abstract

Kapasitas produksi yang optimal dengan sediaan bahan yang cukup dapat meningkatkan efisiensi produksi didalam suatu industri manufaktur. Menghindari persediaan bahan baku yang berlebihan akan menaikkan modal kerja yang dapat digunakan dengan lebih produktif di tempat lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah bagaimana kebijakan yang dilakukan PT.X dalam melakukan pengawasan terhadap persediaan bahan baku mesin diesel model TF 85 MLY untuk kelancaran proses produksi.Masalah yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mengendalikan kuantitas (unit) bahan yang akan diolah atau dibeli sebagai bagian (jumlah lot) sehingga seluruh biaya yang terkait dengan pengolahan atau pembelian menjadi minimum. Metode EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) merupakan salah satu teknik yang digunakan secara luas untuk pengendalian persediaan. Dari hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan EOQ yang telah diterapkan pada material lokal kelompok A, pengeluaran dapat dihemat sebesar Rp. 24.114.173 dari biaya total yang dikeluarkan PT. X dalam setahun. Hasil perhitungan dengan atau tanpa menggunakan metode EOQ yang tidak terlalu signifikan, turut dipengaruhi oleh penerapan kebijakan PT. X dengan para pemasoknya yang belum sesuai, oleh karena masih banyaknya supplier yang tidak memenuhi standar PT. X baik dalam hal pengiriman maupun technical.          Kata kunci: EOQ, Persediaan, Bahan Baku, Kapasitas Produksi (jumlah 3-5 kata)

Abstract

Banyak cara serta pendekatan yang dapat dilakukan oleh perusahaan manufaktur dalam mengukur tingkat produktivitas, salah satunya yang diterapkan oleh PT Yanmar Diesel Indonesia yang memproduksi mesin diesel yang diaplikasikan untuk produk pertanian, kelautan dan industri alat berat. Untuk mengukur produktivitas dan efisiensi dari mesin diesel buatan Yanmar tersebut diperlukan dua macam pengukuran yaitu input (pembelian) dalam hal ini pembelian komponen, dan output (penjualan) dalam hal ini berupa penjualan mesin diesel Yanmar. Semua pengukuran tersebut dilakukan dalam jangka waktu periode tertentu yang meliputi juga biaya tenaga kerja, perawatan dan energi. Penjualan dan pembelian merupakan salah satu faktor yang dominan untuk mengetahui tingkat produktivitas dan efisiensi dari suatau produk selain faktor-faktor pendukung yang lainnya yaitu, tenaga kerja dan modal. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan dengan menggunakan total produktivitas pada short term produktivitas, diperoleh rata – rata tingkat produktivitas yaitu sekitar 5. Kata kunci: Produktivitas, Pengukuran, Penjualan, Pembelian

Abstract

PT Gasd Geosby Indonesia is a company engaged in environmental services and construction. PT Gasd Geosby Indonesia is handling a Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) construction project in Cikarang for an industrial company. The project experienced delays due to several factors supporting activities. Factors that can affect delays include people, materials, costs, and the tools used. Delay cannot be avoided but can be controlled. One form of project control is to calculate the project completion time and the amount of costs that will be incurred until the project is completed. One of the methods used to estimate the time and cost of the project according to the budget according to the work that has been completed is Earned Value Analysis (EVA). The result of data processing using the Primavera application is Estimate At Completion (EAC) in the 4th week of Rp. 185.682.084, the estimated cost is greater than the project planning cost of Rp. Rp. 147.794.994 if the trend of project implementation during the visit did not change until the end of implementation. From the data obtained based on the results of the field visit at week 4, the estimated completion of the project for 43 days or 14 days from the last day of visit was obtained.

Abstract

Companies often have difficulty determining the right amount of production to meet demand. This is due to fluctuations in consumer demand from time to time. Production planning is related to the future, therefore production planning needs to be prepared on the basis of estimates made based on past data using several assumptions. The Fuzzy Time Series Average-Based Algorithm is a forecasting method with a fairly good level of accuracy because it implements an average system that is able to determine the length of the effective interval. In addition, it is important to determine the right strategy to minimize costs. This research produces forecasts for the next 1 year. The Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value is 10.6% and the results are classified as Good. For the Aggregate Planning Strategy for tire products with a Level strategy, a fee of IDR 28,952,251,200 is obtained. While the Chase strategy costs Rp. 5,437,770,000 and for the Mixed strategy, a fee of Rp. 28,945,051,200. Then the alternative method of transportation for permanent workers results in a cost of Rp. 21,575,275,000 while the alternative workforce changed by Rp. 25,613,475,000. Then the calculation of the aggregate planning strategy using the Chase strategy method is the best method that can be used to meet production demands by minimizing production costs.Companies often have difficulty determining the right amount of production to meet demand.
