Abstract

In the digital era, social media plays a crucial role as a platform for disseminating various interpretations, including interpretations of hadiths about asceticism (zuhud). This study aims to analyze how hadiths on asceticism are constructed on social media, specifically through the Instagram account of Aa Gym. The methodology employed is qualitative research with a content analysis approach, where data were collected from posts on Aa Gym's Instagram account. Through the process of determining objects, creating categories, and analysis units, this study found that Aa Gym constructs interpretations of hadiths about asceticism by emphasizing the aspect of spirituality in drawing closer to Allah SWT, adopting a life stance that is not attached to worldly matters, and leading a simple and unexaggerated life. Furthermore, the research reveals that such interpretations are conveyed in a simple, easy-to-understand language that resonates emotionally with the audience, as evidenced by the number of positive comments on social media.Abstrak: Dalam era digital, media sosial berperan penting sebagai platform untuk menyebarkan berbagai pemaknaan, termasuk pemaknaan hadis tentang zuhud. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana hadis-hadis tentang zuhud dikonstruksi dalam media sosial, khususnya melalui akun Instagram Aa Gym. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi, dimana data diambil dari postingan akun Instagram Aa Gym. Melalui proses menentukan objek, pembuatan kategori, dan unit analisis, studi ini menemukan bahwa Aa Gym mengonstruksi pemaknaan hadis tentang zuhud dengan menekankan pada aspek spiritualitas dalam mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SWT, sikap hidup yang tidak terpaut pada duniawi, dan kehidupan yang sederhana serta tidak berlebihan. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa konstruksi pemaknaan tersebut disampaikan dengan bahasa yang sederhana, mudah dipahami, dan mampu menyentuh hati audiens, seperti terlihat dari jumlah komentar positif di media sosial.

Abstract

The social media platform Instagram has become a popular platform for religious accounts to proselytize. One strategy that is often used is posting hadith content that discusses women. This study aims to analyze how hadith content about women is used by religious accounts on Instagram as a strategy to hunt followers. This research uses qualitative methods with content analysis techniques. The results show that the content of hadith about women on Instagram succeeds in attracting audiences through attractive visuals and religious messages that are simple and easy to understand. However, some hadith content tends to be oversimplified or delivered without in-depth context, which can lead to misunderstandings among followers. While these accounts create high engagement and are effective in attracting new followers, there is a need to improve the accuracy and depth of the da'wah messages delivered. The strategy of hunting followers by utilizing hadith about women is successful, but attention to the accuracy of the hadith source and the presentation of a more comprehensive context is needed. This is important to ensure that proselytizing on social media is not only popularity-oriented, but also capable of providing in-depth and beneficial religious understanding on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

Instagram, sebagai salah satu platform media sosial berbasis visual, semakin banyak dimanfaatkan untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan keagamaan, termasuk hadis-hadis ekonomi yang mengandung nilai-nilai etika dan prinsip muamalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana hadis-hadis ekonomi Islam diinterpretasikan dan disampaikan melalui konten Instagram, serta menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap literasi ekonomi Islam di kalangan pengguna media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi pada sejumlah akun Instagram yang secara konsisten membagikan konten berbasis hadis ekonomi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi mendalam terhadap unggahan, mencakup teks dan gambar yang memuat pesan-pesan hadis tentang ekonomi dengan melalui proses penelusuran penggunaan tagar #hadisekonomi untuk mengidentifikasi unggahan yang relevan. Analisis juga dilakukan terhadap interaksi pengguna, seperti komentar dan jumlah suka, untuk memahami respons audiens. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konten Instagram yang berbasis hadis ekonomi berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran tentang prinsip-prinsip ekonomi Islam, seperti keadilan dalam muamalah, pentingnya kejujuran dalam perdagangan, dan toleransi dalam aktivitas ekonomi. Temuan lain menemukan bahwa hadis yang disampaikan berupa terjemahan dalam bahasa Indonesia tanpa menyertakan teks asli berbahasa Arab. Namun, penyajian visual yang menarik dan penggunaan bahasa yang sederhana meningkatkan daya tarik dan pemahaman audiens. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa Instagram dapat menjadi media yang efektif untuk mendigitalisasi dakwah ekonomi Islam di era modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena fragmentasi makna hadis dalam konten dakwah di platform media sosial TikTok serta dampaknya terhadap pemahaman pesan keislaman oleh audiens. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis isi kritis terhadap sejumlah akun TikTok yang secara aktif menyebarkan konten dakwah berbasis hadis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyampaian hadis secara singkat, tanpa konteks, sanad, dan penjelasan derajat keabsahannya, menyebabkan penyempitan makna dan hilangnya fungsi hadis sebagai pedoman hukum dan akhlak. Konten dakwah di TikTok cenderung menekankan aspek emosional dan visual guna menarik perhatian audiens muda, namun sering mengabaikan akurasi ilmiah dan kedalaman makna. Kesimpulannya, fenomena ini menuntut peningkatan literasi digital dan keagamaan di kalangan pengguna media sosial agar pesan dakwah tetap autentik dan bermakna. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar para dai digital menyampaikan hadis secara bertanggung jawab dan sesuai dengan kaidah keilmuan dalam ilmu hadis.

Abstract

Buya Syakur, a cleric with a critical and often controversial preaching style, has become a widely discussed figure on social media, especially Instagram. His popularity on this platform has triggered various responses, both support and criticism from multiple groups. This study aims to examine the role of Instagram as a modern da’wah medium by exploring the values ​​of hadith in Buya Syakur’s Sufi advice spread through various accounts on Instagram. The research method used is qualitative with a content analysis approach. Data were collected by searching for relevant uploads using the hashtag #buyasyakur. The results of the study show that the advice conveyed by Buya Syakur via Instagram is in line with the core values ​​of authentic hadith. In addition to enriching modern society’s understanding of Islamic teachings, the advice also emphasizes morality and ethics from a Sufi perspective. The findings of this study confirm that Instagram has great potential as a contemporary da’wah medium that can reach a wide audience. Through a simple yet meaningful presentation, this digital da’wah not only deepens people’s understanding of Islamic teachings but also maintains the authentic values ​​of hadith as a fundamental foundation in da’wah in the digital era.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is related to the methodology and conditions of hadith history used by Ibn Hibban in collecting the traditions in his Sahih book. To understand this theme, the research question is how the form of Ibn Hibban's methodology in collecting hadith and how the conditions determined by Ibn Hibban in determining the status of the hadith narrator contained in his Sahih book. This research uses qualitative type with content analysis approach. The data source comes from the Sahih book of Ibn Hibban with data collection through determining the object, creating categories and units of analysis. The findings of this study explain that the methodology of the compilation system of his sahih book, Ibn Hibban applies the qism-qism and nau'-nau' styles. Other findings found that in terms of the conditions used by Ibn Hibban in determining the status of the hadith narrator, namely judging the tsiqah of a person whose conditions are closed, that is, as long as there is no judgment of disgrace and judgment of 'fairness against him, every shaikh and narrator who narrates from him is tsiqah, and never brings a bad tradition. Finally, it can be emphasized that Ibn Hibban's methodology and the conditions for determining the narrator are unique because they are different from those used by ulama.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan metodologi dan kondisi sejarah hadis yang digunakan oleh Ibnu Hibban dalam mengumpulkan tradisi dalam kitab Sahihnya. Untuk memahami tema tersebut, pertanyaan penelitian adalah bagaimana bentuk metodologi Ibnu Hibban dalam mengumpulkan hadis dan bagaimana kondisi yang ditentukan oleh Ibnu Hibban dalam menentukan status perawi hadis yang terkandung dalam kitab Sahihnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi. Sumber data berasal dari kitab Sahih Ibnu Hibban dengan pengumpulan data melalui penentuan objek, pembuatan kategori dan unit analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa metodologi sistem kompilasi kitab shahihnya, Ibnu Hibban menerapkan gaya qisme-qisme dan nau'-nau'. Temuan lain menemukan bahwa dari segi kondisi yang digunakan oleh Ibnu Hibban dalam menentukan status perawi hadis, yaitu menghakimi tsiqah seseorang yang kondisinya tertutup, yaitu selama tidak ada penghakiman aib dan penghakiman 'keadilan terhadapnya, setiap syekh dan perawi yang meriwayatkan darinya adalah tsiqah, dan tidak pernah membawa tradisi yang buruk. Akhirnya, dapat ditekankan bahwa metodologi Ibnu Hibban dan syarat-syarat penentuan perawi adalah unik karena berbeda dengan yang digunakan oleh ulama.

Abstract

Abdullah Gymnastiar is one of Indonesia's most popular preachers who has been able to utilize social media to convey religious messages in a calm, simple, and relevant manner. Through his Instagram account, Abdullah Gymnastiar discusses various Islamic topics, including theological concepts such as destiny, which often cause confusion among the general public. In this context, it is important to examine how the meaning of hadiths about destiny is communicated in a modern and easily understandable way. This study aims to analyze the meaning of hadiths about destiny conveyed by Abdullah Gymnastiar through Instagram. The research was conducted using content analysis and a qualitative approach, specifically interpretive analysis. The research data was collected from posts, captions, videos, and comments on Abdullah Gymnastiar's Instagram account. The results of the study indicate that Abdullah Gymnastiar interprets hadiths about destiny by emphasizing the balance between human effort and tawakal (trust in God's will). This message is framed as spiritual motivation that encourages the community to continue striving. The implication is that contemporary preachers need to be creative in utilizing digital media so that religious messages can be conveyed in a communicative, inspiring, and easily understandable manner to the public.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the transformation of Islamic da'wah in the digital era, with a specific focus on the transmission of Hadith through social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Employing a qualitative content analysis method, the study investigates how Hadith is presented, contextualized, and disseminated across these platforms. Data were collected through purposive sampling of selected da'wah content and analyzed thematically to identify emerging patterns and trends. The findings reveal four key aspects: (1) the simplification and visual adaptation of Hadith to enhance accessibility and audience engagement; (2) the rise of new digital religious influencers who often lack formal scholarly credentials; (3) concerns regarding the authenticity and accurate attribution of Hadith sources; and (4) the use of creative digital aesthetics to attract and retain viewers. These results highlight both the opportunities and challenges posed by digital media in the context of Islamic preaching. On one hand, digital platforms significantly broaden the outreach of religious messages; on the other hand, they demand careful consideration of content integrity and interpretive authority. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of religious communication in the digital age and offers practical insights for promoting a balance between innovation and authenticity in online da'wah practices.
