Abstract

Service quality is an important meaning for a service business to achieve  customer satisfaction. Good quality, friendly, fast and precise service will increase the number of customers.The formulation of the problem in this study is divided into two, namely whether service quality affects customer satisfaction at Kez's Bakery & Restaurant? And are there any service factors that affect customer satisfaction at Kez's Bakery  & Restaurant. The purpose of this study was to determine customer responses to  service quality at Kez's Bakery & Restaurant in Batam. To find out customer  responses to the satisfaction felt at Kez's Bakery & Restaurant in Batam. This research is included in quantitative research, the population in this study amounted to 3000 customers and the sampling was carried out by nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling method in order to obtain a sample of 97 customers. The data analysis method uses simple linear regression analysis, classical assumptions, hypothesis testing, then data processing uses the SPSS version 25 application. The t test results show that the service quality variable has a value based on the tcount> ttable test, namely 2.884 > 1.66105 and a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the variable service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction at Kez's Bakery & Restaurant in Batam.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the Teaching Factory model on the development of student competencies in the hospitality sector at de Balen Soultan Hotel. Despite the growing importance of practical skills in the industry, gaps remain in the effectiveness of current educational approaches. To address this issue, the research employs a quantitative method using Multiple Linear Regression analysis via IBM SPSS 25 software to evaluate the relationship between the implementation of the Teaching Factory model (independent variable) and waiter competencies (dependent variable). Data were collected from 74 students enrolled in the Lombok Tourism Polytechnic catering program, utilizing a purposive sampling technique. The findings reveal a strong positive correlation (0.850) between the Teaching Factory model and student competencies, indicating that the model significantly enhances students’ preparedness for industry demands. The study concludes that implementing the Teaching Factory model is crucial for equipping students with essential skills, thereby fostering their success in the hospitality sector. It recommends further integration of industry practices into vocational training programs to improve student outcomes and enhance their employability

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pendampingan yang diperlukan dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata Saneo, Desa Wisata Hu’u Lakey, dan Desa Wisata Tambora di Kabupaten Dompu, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Kabupaten Dompu memiliki potensi wisata yang besar dengan keindahan alamnya, namun pengelolaan dan pengembangan pariwisata di daerah ini masih menghadapi tantangan, seperti kurangnya pendampingan dan keterlibatan masyarakat lokal. Pendekatan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat (community-based tourism) yang menempatkan masyarakat lokal sebagai aktor utama dalam pengelolaan wisata, menjadi landasan utama penelitian ini. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi potensi wisata yang dimiliki oleh ketiga desa tersebut, menganalisis kebutuhan pendampingan, serta merumuskan strategi pendampingan yang efektif untuk mendukung pengembangan wisata berkelanjutan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi kepada pemerintah daerah dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan dan pengembangan wisata di Kabupaten Dompu, meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat lokal dalam mengelola potensi wisata, serta memberikan kontribusi pada literatur mengenai pengembangan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat dan strategi pendampingan di desa wisata. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya sinergi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan sektor swasta untuk mewujudkan pengelolaan wisata yang berkelanjutan dan berdampak positif bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal.
