Abstract

The development of children's character is influenced by the synergy between the responsibilities of parents and teachers, as well as those of home, school, and community. This study aims to find a model of synergy or cooperation between parents and educators in helping adolescents develop character, kinship, discipline, and honesty. The subject of the study was SMA Negeri 3 Denpasar, using a descriptive qualitative research design. The informants were parents, vice principals, and teachers. The researcher is instrumental in this investigation. Techniques for collecting data include documentation, interviews, and observation. Data analysis methods include steps to reduce data, data visualization, and conclusions. The results of this investigation show that the synergy models or patterns applied in optimizing the roles of teachers and parents are 1) enforcing school regulations and 2) building communication and coordination between teachers and people. The implications of this pattern impact the success of character building in students to the maximum. Following up on the results of this study, regarding the program of activities implemented at home and school, parents and teachers must communicate effectively with each other.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbantuan media puzzle terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas IV pada topik pecahan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Sumerta Denpasar yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan rata-rata nilai 49,00, sedangkan post-test meningkat menjadi 84,00. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Penerapan model CTL berbantuan puzzle terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep pecahan. Pendekatan ini mampu menciptakan pembelajaran bermakna melalui keterkaitan materi dengan kehidupan nyata dan visualisasi konkret melalui media puzzle. Dengan demikian, model CTL berbantuan puzzle direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar, khususnya pada materi yang bersifat abstrak.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of moral values through Balinese folklore. This study was conducted on children aged 5-6 years. The type and approach used are qualitative discriptive. Data analysis uses interactive descriptive analysis models such as data reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that there are several stories of local wisdom of Balinese people can be used as examples of moral values in children through the attitudes of characters in Balinese folklore. Exemplary behavior such as being honest, helpful, courteous, respectful, can distinguish good and bad attitudes.
