Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji struktur “Cerita Tanpa Cerita: Beran, 1949” karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma dari aspek instrinsik dan genetik dari cerpen. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini yakni cerpen “Cerita Tanpa Cerita: Beran, 1949” karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma yang dimuat pada laman kompas pada tanggal 18 Desember 2022. Sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari literatur-literatur yang relevan dengan penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca-catat. Analisis data menggunakan teknik dialektik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan struktur intrinsik cerpen yang terdiri dari: a) tema cerpen yaitu sejarah kemanusiaa; b) tokoh utamanya ialah Anak dan Ibu serta beberapa tokoh tambahan; c) alur cerita campuran; d) latar tempat berada di Yogyakarta; dan e) sudut pandang orang ketiga terbatas. Sementara itu, struktur genetic cerpen terdiri dari fakta kemanusiaan, subjek kolektif, hingga pandangan dunia pengarang yang memuat kritik sosialnya terhadap ketidakadilan pada masa kekuasaan pihak-pihak yang dianggap kejam. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan pemahaman yang menyeluruh terhadap isi dari cerita pendek karya Seno Gumira tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory in the drama performance entitled Ayahku Pulang by Usmar Ismail. In this study, the author uses a qualitative method, because this study is a descriptive presentation in presenting the results of the data studied. Then, considering the breadth and depth of this research, the author uses this research method. Then the data in this study uses YouTube content from an account named Kuddus. The data in this study shows that the psychological system in Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory is found in the personalities of the characters in the drama performance Ayahku Pulang by Usmar Ismail, namely the Id system in the character of Ayah (Raden Saleh), the Super ego system in the character of Ibu (Tina), Maimun and Mintarsih then, the Ego system in the character Gunarto.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the religious values ​​in the poem Wirid Orang Tertindas by Emha Ainun Nadjib. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative through a religious approach, the data collection technique in this study is using the reading and note-taking technique. In accordance with the results of the study, religious values ​​are found in the poem Wirid Orang Tertindas by Emha Ainun Nadjib, including the values ​​of faith and piety. Based on the results of the analysis, literary works that contain religious values ​​can be used as learning in society.

Abstract

The phenomenon of social media talk about the ndasmu utterance raises the question of why it has become controversial. Through the pragmatics perspective, this study tries to analyze the speech using a qualitative approach. By collecting data through transcriptions of speeches uploaded on YouTube channels, the data analysis will identify the context, types of speech acts, and the politeness of the word ndasmu in the president's speech. In addition, it is supported by secondary data in the form of public responses in interpreting the speech. The analysis is based on Halliday's situational context theory and Searle's speech acts. The data findings show that the president's speech is an illocutionary speech act with an expressive-satirical form.
