Abstract

Sago has enormous potential in meeting food needs. This plant only needs to be planted once, and after 12 years it can be continuously harvested, without the need to clear land for new plantings. Sago also does not need fertilizers, pesticides and other things. The potential of the sago plant business is one of the livelihoods of the people in Sebagun village, Sebawi sub-district, with an area of ​​​​about 200 hectares. It turns out that it can provide distinct benefits for economic independence for the people in the village. The proof is that many young sago stems are found in areas that have a high enough water content, this can be a source of increasing regular or side income for the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the management manages coastal tourist attractions and with the management of these tourist attractions, it can improve the economy of the surrounding community, especially business actors around the beach. This study uses the theory of management and welfare, this study uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the management of the Matang Danau Beach tourist attraction in Matang Danau Village, Paloh District, Sambas Regency can be said to be still not optimal because of the lack of facilities around the beach, for example there are still no prayer rooms and public toilets, but with the management of the Matang Danau beach, it can also increase the level of welfare for the surrounding community, and with the management of the beach, it can reduce coastal abrasion due to the construction of a concrete embankment to prevent seawater abrasion and also more adequate road facilities with paved roads, and the construction of the Matang Danau Beach name icon, a gazebo for visitors to take shelter. With the Management of the Matang Danau Beach tourist attraction, it has a positive impact on improving the welfare of business actors around the beach in Matang Danau Village, as evidenced by the increase in income obtained, which initially only utilized the results of farming and fishing, now there is additional income from the business being run. In terms of education and health, there has also been an increase in which the facilities are more adequate and security has been regulated by members of the tourist attraction management and there is great public awareness.

Abstract

In Islamic Economics, the goal of consumption is to maximize maslahah. According to Imam Syatibi, the term maslahah has a broader meaning than just utility or satisfaction in conventional economic terminology. Maslahah is the most important goal of Sharia law. Maslahah is the nature or ability of goods and services that support the basic elements and goals of human life on this earth. Meanwhile, this research uses qualitative research with the type of Library Research research. The results of this research are that in Islam, a Muslim when consuming goods or services should pay attention to ethics and principles in consuming so that consumption goals can be achieved, namely: maintaining religion (al-din), maintaining life or soul (al-nafs), maintaining property or property (al-mal), intellectual maintenance (al-aql), and maintenance of family or descendants (al-nasl). Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of factors that influence production in increasing rice farmers' income from an Islamic economic perspective. Tangaran Village, Tangaran District, which has quite a lot of production factors so that it influences farmers' income a lot. The technology used in this research is. The theory of what factors influence paddy production and how production increases the income of paddy farmers. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, and includes a type of field research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data used is primary income of the paddy farming community. The research data analysis technique is data reduction, submission of data, drawing conclusions. The technique for the validity of the data used is member checking. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that the factors that influence production in increasing the income of rice farmers from an Islamic economic perspective are very much influenced by production factors and the income of rice farmers in Tangaran Village so that the income of farmers increases a lot, and many implement Islamic teachings. It has a positive impact on the economy of the local rice farming community, especially the community. Tangaran Village

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of the Interbank Mudharabah Investment Certificate (Sertifikat Investasi Mudharabah Antarbank/SIMA), inflation, and exchange rates on financing provided by Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia during the period 2015–2024. The study employs a descriptive quantitative approach with a focus on causality analysis, utilizing secondary time-series data obtained from Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK). The data are analyzed using the Vector Autoregression (VAR) estimation method with the assistance of EViews 12 software. Several pre-estimation procedures are conducted, including stationarity testing, optimal lag length determination, and cointegration testing, to ensure the accuracy and validity of the model. The results indicate that although the individual variables become stationary after first differencing, the cointegration test does not reveal any long-run equilibrium relationship among SIMA, inflation, exchange rates, and Islamic bank financing. Granger causality tests demonstrate that Islamic bank financing Granger-causes SIMA, inflation, and exchange rates, but not vice versa. Further VAR analysis reveals dynamic interdependence among the variables, with past values of Islamic bank financing significantly influencing its current level as well as inflation.

Abstract

Women’s savings and loan product are a financing product from a sharia institution that has the aim of improving the economic situation of the community. Currently, there are many financial institutions such as bank and non-bank that help provide comprehensive support for the problems of people whose economy is middle to lower, such as traders. This research aims to determine what factors influence traders’ descisions in using SPP products and the SPP financing scheme at the UPK sharia independent sub-district Selakau. This research, including qualitative field research, data obtained by using observation, techniquest, interviews and documentation techniques. This research uses 3 kinds of data analysis techniques namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research indicate that the factors that influence traders’ descisions to use these financing product are internal factors such as personal and psychological, as well external factors such as social from the surrounding environment, the ease of the system for custumer to use, provit sharing between institutions and customers, requirements for financing, as well as services provided by the independent sharia activity management unit institutions in the Selakau Sub-district.

Abstract

Entering the post-pandemic demographic dividend era, youth play a crucial role in transforming from job seekers to job creators. This study uses a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach based on field research. The research subjects consisted of 12 youth MSME actors (aged 18-30 years) from various sectors selected purposively. Primary and secondary data collection were carried out simultaneously through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. The collected data were then analyzed using an interactive model that includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that youth make concrete contributions to reducing the unemployment rate through the creation of new jobs, the utilization of accelerated digital marketing, and the creation of product innovations. Despite facing structural obstacles in the form of limited access to initial capital and the complexity of licensing administration, these young coastal entrepreneurs have consistently practiced the five axioms of Islamic economics (Tawhid, 'Adl, Nubuwwah, Khilafah, and Ma'ad). Operational evaluation also shows that their trading system is highly consistent with the objectives of Maqashid Sharia, particularly the preservation of productivity Hifdzul Maal (safeguarding wealth) and the fulfillment of safety standards Hifdzun Nafs (safeguarding life), and is strictly free from the intrusion of the invalid (fasid) practices of MAGHRIB (Maysir [gambling], Gharar [uncertainty], and Riba [usury]).
