Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning motivation of students in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) through reinforcement techniques with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included classroom teachers and students of class V. The results of this study showed that the application of reinforcement techniques in the PBL model increased the enthusiasm and active participation of students from the beginning to the end of the learning process. In addition, reinforcement techniques help students better understand the material being taught and have a positive impact on the final summative results obtained. In conclusion, reinforcement techniques combined with the PBL model can be an effective method that can be applied by teachers to help students' motivation to learn in the classroom.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat tentang sosialisasi pendidikan seks pada guru dan murid untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan terkait kekerasan seksual pada anak sebagai upaya pencegahan terjadinya kekerasan seksual pada anak. Fenomena grooming ini menjadi sorotan khususnya bagi warga Indonesia belum lama ini yaitu tepatnya pada Juli 2019 lalu saat pelaku didapati melakukan kejahatan grooming saat dirinya masih menjadi narapidana eksploitasi dan kejahatan seksual terhadap anak. Pengabdian ini juga dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil dari Kasus pelecehan seksual pada anak yang semakin meningkat pertahunnya sehingga perlu dilakukan pencegahan melalui edukasi seks pada anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan dan pelatihan yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan monev. Setelah dilakukannya program pengabdian ini, kemampuan guru dan murid menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan seks dapat meningkatkan pemahaman guru dan murid terkait kekerasan seksual.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat mitra yakni kelompok keluarga nelayan Bulak Kota Surabaya adalah permasalahan ekonomi dan rendahnya literasi keluarga. Terutama literasi tentang pencegahan kekerasan seksual. Fakta di lapangan juga menunjukkan bahwa angka lulusan SD di kecamatan Bulak, terutama di kelurahan Kedung Cowek masih tinggi disbanding dengan angka tamatan SMA atau perguruan tinggi. Beberapa hambatan orang tua dalam pendidikan seksual pada anak adalah minimnya pengetahuan orang tua tentang kekerasan seksual, stigma tabu, dan minimnya pemahaman tentang prosedur hukum perlindungan anak. Sehingga tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pola penyadaran parenting untukpencegahan kekerasan seksual pada anak melalui pendekatan psikologi dan pendidikan hukum. Hasil evaluasi relevansi program menunjukkan sebanyak 90% mitra merasa sangat puas dan puas. Pada penyampaian materi, Tingkat pemahaman mitra sebesar 85%. Sementara itu,  88% mitra merasa puas dengan kinerja tim di lapangan. Sebanyak 80% mitra optimis bahwa program akan memberikan dampak positif jangka panjang.

Abstract

Setiap peserta didik memiliki tingkat berpikir kreatif yang berbeda-beda, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk memudahkan pendidik dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dan pengembangan model ADDIE. Model ADDIE meliputi lima tahap yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah 12 Subaraya yang berjumlah 19 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi validasi, lembar angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book pada materimakhluk hidup dan lingkungannya dan memperoleh skor validitas dari ahli media dan ahli materi sebesar 82% dengan kriteria “sangat valid”. Hasil lembar angket dari guru memperoleh 100% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”, sedangkan dari hasil lembar angket peserta didik memperoleh 88% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Hasil nilai rata-rata keseluruhan tes dari siswa sebelum menggunakan media Pop-Up Book sebesar 74% dengan nilai presentase 37%, sedangkan hasil nilai rata-rata keseluruhan tes dari siswa sesudah menggunakan media Pop-Up Book sebesar 80% dengan nilai presentase 63%. Sehingga dengan adanya peningkatan yang diperoleh dari hasil tes siswa maka pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif.

Abstract

Guru atau tenaga pengajar merupakan salah satu sumber daya manusia yang penting untuk mewujudkan tujuan dari penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, sebagai sebuah profesi, guru memerlukan peningkatan profesionalitas, salah satunya adalah melalui publikasi artikel ilmiah. Kendati demikian, sangat disayangkan berdasarkan data di lapangan, sekitar 410.000 guru yang berpangkat IV/a ternyata masih mengalami kesulitan untuk kenaikan pangkat karena adanya persyaratan menulis karya ilmiah. Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah 1) meningkatkan pemahaman guru Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah di Kota Surabaya tentang penulisan artikel ilmiah; 2) melatih guru Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah di Kota Surabaya menulis artikel ilmiah; dan 3) menghasilkan artikel ilmiah yang akan dipublikasikan dalam jurnal terakreditasi SINTA. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama empat belas hari yaitu pada tanggal 4–17 Desember 2021. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah in-service training program yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan. Sasaran mitra adalah guru Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah di Kota Surabaya. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa melalui program tersebut semua mitra telah berhasil menyelesaikan artikel ilmiah dan melakukan submit di jurnal terakreditasi SINTA, baik tiga, empat, dan lima.

Abstract

Monotonous learning methods, confusing curriculum, lack of student motivation and low academic achievement of students. The teacher's task is very vital in fostering student motivation by creating interesting and meaningful learning. One of the media that can be used in the learning process is the traditional engklek game media. This study aims to develop traditional engklek game media that meets the criteria of valid, practical, and effective in phase B science learning at elementary school level. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model consisting of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. At the Development stage, the researcher conducted a validity test by two material experts and two media experts showing that this media is very valid, with a percentage of 97% from material experts and 96% from media experts. At the Implementation stage, the researcher conducted a practicality test assessed through student and teacher responses, resulting in a score of 84% from students and 89% from teachers. At the Evaluation stage, the researcher tested the effectiveness of the media as measured by student learning outcomes, which showed a percentage of 72%, indicating that the media was effectively used. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the hopscotch game media is very feasible from the valid, practical, and effective aspects as a learning media in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop Google Sites-based learning media with a valid, practical, and effective Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach in the Indonesian Language subject for grade III students at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. This study uses the ADDIE development model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The media developed includes interactive elements such as videos, quizzes, and educational games to increase students' interest and understanding. The data consisted of validity reviewed based on aspects of presentation, content, and language, practicality based on student responses after the media application, and effectiveness obtained from N-Gain pretest and posttest values. The study showed that PBL-based Google Sites were declared very valid, with an average validity of 95.83%. However, the practicality showed an acquisition of 94% with a quite practical category. Effectiveness showed an average N-Gain value of 0.90, including high category. This media was valid, advantageous, and effective in increasing interest and quality of Indonesian Language learning in grade III

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the implementation of project-based cooperative learning in inclusive elementary school classrooms by utilizing environmental space as a learning resource. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation to provide an in-depth description of how this learning strategy is applied, the interaction between regular students and students with special needs, as well as how the school environment is utilized to support learning. The findings show that the implementation of project-based cooperative learning can enhance collaboration between regular students and students with special needs, as well as the use of the environmental space as a learning resource, enriching the students' experiences and engagement. The implications of this study highlight the importance of integrating cooperative learning with the utilization of the environment as a learning resource in the context of inclusive classrooms, which can improve the quality of learning and students' social skills. Project-based cooperative learning using environmental space has been proven effective in supporting inclusive education, where appropriate data collection techniques provide a deeper understanding of the learning process and outcomes.

Abstract

Fishermen families represent vulnerable coastal communities facing socio-economic instability due to fluctuating catches, long value chains, and limited literacy in social, economic, and legal risk management. This program addresses their multi-dimensional vulnerability through the development of a Digital Ecosystem Model based on the Fisherman Care application, designed as an integrated capacity-building platform. The intervention focuses on three aspects: (1) Family Education (Parenting) to strengthen digital communication and parenting skills; (2) Economic Empowerment, promoting product diversification and digital marketing for MSMEs; and (3) Legal Education, emphasizing fisheries regulations, business legality, and social protection. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach and quantitative evaluation through pre- and post-tests involving 60 participants from the Paciran Fishermen Community, the program recorded significant improvements across all areas. The economic aspect increased from 2.5 to 3.8, showing success in creating alternative family income sources; parenting literacy improved from 2.2 to 3.6, reflecting better digital parenting awareness; and legal understanding rose from 2.0 to 3.5, enhancing awareness of sustainability and business legality. These outcomes confirm that the integrated digital ecosystem model effectively strengthens fishermen families’ economic independence, family resilience, and legal literacy, supporting sustainable livelihoods in coastal communities.

Abstract

Education and schools have great potential to support the success of efforts to instill the value of ecological awareness amidst the problems of environmental damage. The development of mobile multimedia modules designed with the concept of a daily project-based learning approach makes ecological education more meaningful and contextual. The purpose found out the method of implementing the value of ecological awareness through the development of mobile multimedia modules for elementary school students using a daily project-based learning approach. This type of research was research and development (research and development). The development model for this multimedia module is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model from Lee & Owens. The results of the material validation showed that the overall average value of the validation is 3.6 in a very valid category. Media validation with an average value of 3.4 categories was valid. User response showed that an average number of 3.2 indicating a positive response. The test results on students showed the value of Sig. (2 tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a difference in the average Pre-Test and Post Test, which meant there was a change that showed the effectiveness of implementing ecological awareness values through the development of mobile multimedia modules for elementary school students with a daily project-based learning approach. The results of students’ daily activities in the project also showed good and very good categories.
