Abstract

Government efforts to eradicate filariasis is with filariasis mass treatment. But there are still many people who do not want to consume filariasis drugs because they do not know about the importance of the drug to prevent the disease filariasis. Jorong Madani in Padang, there are 3 people with filariasis in 2021, although treatment coverage filariasis in 2019 has reached 100%. Thus there are still many people who do not comply filariasis drugs. Interviews with 10 families in Padang Jorong North Manggopoh Madani, obtained information that 6 of them were told not to take medicine filariasis given officers. The aim of research to determine the predisposing factors associated with compliance in taking medication communities filariasis. This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The population is all the people who are in Jorong Madani Manggopoh Padang Utara subdistrict Lubuk Basung Agam, totaling 425 people. Samples numbered 64 people taken by simple random sampling. Data were collected through interviews guided, then processed and analyzed by computerized. Results of univariate analysis note that 64.1% of respondents have a low knowledge, 62.5% negative attitude, 68.8% trust unfavorable and 68.6% do not obey the filariasis drug consumption. Bivariate analysis known predisposing factors associated with compliance in drug consumption filariasis is knowledge (p = 0.003 and OR = 6.314), attitude (p = 0.026 and OR = 4.000) and confidence (p = 0.002 and OR = 6.750). It can be concluded that the factors associated with adherence filariasisi drug consumption is the knowledge, attitudes and beliefs. Expected at the health center in order to supervise the community in taking medication filariasis as public advocate to directly take medicine in front of the officer.

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an elderly person is someone who has reached the age of 60 years and over. The elderly are an age group of humans who have entered the final stages of their life. As people get older, they will experience changes both physically and mentally. So it is not surprising that in old age, more and more diseases attack the elderly. In fact, the elderly suffer from not just one disease but several diseases at once. Madina Elderly Posyandu is one of the Elderly Posyandu located in the Koto Katiak Community Health Center Working Area, Padang Panjang City. From the initial survey, data was obtained that the diseases that often attack the elderly there are hypertension, cholesterol and gout. The aim of this community service is for people, especially the elderly, to pay more attention to healthy lifestyles so that they can avoid hypertension, cholesterol and gout by making appropriate efforts in prevention and treatment as early as possible. The method of this activity is lecture, discussion, question and answer and ends with elderly exercise. The outcome of this activity is an increase in elderly knowledge about what foods elderly people with hypertension, cholesterol and gout should avoid.

Abstract

Psychological preparation One thing that mothers must prepare before giving birth is to avoid panic and fear and be calm, so that pregnant women can go through the birthing period well and be more prepared and ask for support from the people closest to them. Mothers who are not ready to face childbirth are one of the factors causing maternal mortality (MMR). Many efforts have been made to support efforts to reduce MMR, one of which is by preparing for childbirth starting during pregnancy. From the initial survey at the service location, namely Poskeskel Pakan Kurai Bukitinggi, several problems were found, especially the problems of pregnant women, one of which was the problem of dealing with maternal psychology regarding the physical and mental readiness of mothers in preparing for childbirth in the third trimester of pregnant women from 11 pregnant women who were accompanied by health cadres. Of the 6 pregnant women, in discussions with pregnant women, several problems were raised, one of which was the problem of pregnant women's lack of knowledge about how to prepare for the birthing process. At the activity stage, there will be introduction, education provided directly to pregnant women, guidance and outreach to pregnant women. Evaluation is carried out by providing questions and answers. The results of this activity are the provision of education and the existence of leaflets which are directly read by pregnant women. There is an increase in mothers' knowledge about pregnancy preparation which includes dealing with maternal psychology regarding physical and mental readiness in preparing for childbirth. With increased knowledge, a positive attitude will be formed from pregnant women to prepare for childbirth.
