Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a communicable disease that is a significant cause of ill health and one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Tuberculosis remains a major global health problem. Tuberculosis infection remains one of the biggest health problems in Indonesia, which ranked second in the world on the list of countries with a high burden of TB. This is a cross-sectional study where the research displays population data, population density, and the incidence of TB in Bandung city, which is visualized in the mapping. This research analyzed the relationship between population density and the incidence of TB. The area with the highest TB incidence was the Babakan Ciparay subdistrict, with a total of 469 people and a population density of 205 people/hectare. The study has shown a strong relationship and a positive correlation between population density and the incidence of TB in Bandung city (p<0.001, r=0.603). Tuberculosis cases tend to be higher in areas with high population densities. Besides population density, other factors influence the incidence of TB in an area. House technical factors such as adequacy of windows, air ventilation, and lighting influence TB transmission. Besides that, household sanitation factors and occupancy density also impact the incidence of TB. In conclusion, subdistricts with a high population density show a high incidence of TB. There is a strong and unidirectional relationship between population density and the incidence of TB.

Abstract

Dislipidemia adalah suatu kelainan metabolisme lipid yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar kolesterol total, LDL atau trigliserida di atas nilai normal serta penurunan konsentrasi kolesterol HDL dalam darah atau kombinasi. Dislipidemia merupakan silent risk kesehatan populasi secara umum. Kondisi berat badan lebih berasosiasi terhadap kondisi dislipidemia sehingga meningkatkan risiko berbagai penyakit kronis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara status gizi berisiko dengan kejadian dislipidemia. Desain studi penelitian ini adalah cross sectional menggunakan data rekam medis pasien dewasa dan lansia di Instalasi Rawat Jalan RSUD Cibabat yang dilakukan April sampai dengan Mei tahun 2022. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dan estimasi dengan analisis modifikasi cox regression. Status gizi dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu berisiko jika berat badan lebih dan obesitas, tidak berisiko jika berat badan kurang dan normal. Total responden pada penelitian ini adalah 344 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proporsi insidens dislipidemia adalah 45,9%, dan 64,4% terjadi pada status gizi berisiko. Status gizi berisiko memiliki risiko dua kali lebih tinggi untuk mengalami dislipidemia dibanding dengan status gizi tidak berisiko (PR= 2,2; 1,6–2,9). Tingginya lipogenesis pada status gizi berisiko mengakibatkan peningkatan kejadian dislipidemia. Simpulan, terdapat hubungan status gizi berisiko dengan dislipidemia. Relationship between Risky Nutritional Status and DyslipidemiaAbstractDyslipidemia is a lipid metabolism disorder characterized by increased total cholesterol, LDL, or triglyceride levels above typical values and decreased HDL cholesterol concentration in the blood or a combination. Dyslipidemia is a silent risk to the health of the population in general. Excess weight is significantly associated with dyslipidemia, thereby increasing the risk of various chronic diseases. This study aims to analyze the relationship between risky nutritional status and the incidence of dyslipidemia. This cross-sectional design used adult and elderly patient medical record data for 2022 at the Outpatient Installation of Cibabat Hospital from April to May 2022. The analysis was descriptively and estimated using a modified Cox regression analysis. Nutritional status is divided into two: at risk if people are overweight and obese, and not at risk if people are underweight and normal. A total of 344 respondents were included in the study. The results showed that the proportion of incidents of dyslipidemia was 45.9%, and 64.4% occurred in at-risk nutritional status. At-risk dietary status has a two times higher risk of experiencing dyslipidemia than nutritional status without risk (PR = 2.2; 1.6–2.9). High lipogenesis in nutritional status is at risk of resulting in an increased incidence of dyslipidemia. In conclusion, there is a relationship between risky nutritional status and dyslipidemia.

Abstract

Indeks massa tubuh (IMT) merupakan salah satu indikator status gizi. Indeks massa tubuh menjadi salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi kebugaran fisik. Kelompok pekerjaan petugas keamanan membutuhkan kondisi kebugaran fisik yang baik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui indeks massa tubuh, kebugaran fisik, dan hubungan indeks massa tubuh dengan kebugaran fisik pada petugas keamanan di institusi pendidikan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain potong lintang. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April 2023. Data diperoleh dari data sekunder institusi dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 81 orang. Data indeks massa tubuh diperoleh dengan membagi berat badan (kg) dengan tinggi badan dikuadratkan (m2). Kebugaran fisik diukur dengan metode Cooper Test. Data dianalisis dengan uji fisher-exact. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 52 orang responden memiliki indeks massa tubuh berisiko (64,2%) dan 72 orang responden memiliki kebugaran fisik tidak baik (88,9%). Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara indeks massa tubuh dan kebugaran fisik petugas keamanan di institusi pendidikan (p<0,05). Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian tersebut maka disarankan upaya institusi menurunkan indeks massa tubuh dan meningkatkan kebugaran fisik para pertugas keamanan melalui program latihan fisik yang terstruktur selain diimbangi dengan asupan nutrisi yang bergizi dan seimbang. AbstractBody mass indeks (BMI) is an indeks of nutritional status. Body mass indeks is one of the factors that influences physical fitness. The security officer job group requires good physical fitness. The research was conducted with the aim of determining body mass indeks, physical fitness, and the relationship between body mass indeks and physical fitness among security officers in educational institutions. The research was conducted with a cross-sectional design. The research was conducted in April 2023. Data was obtained from institutional secondary data with a total of 81 respondents. Body mass indeks data is obtained by dividing body weight (kg) by body height squared (m2). Physical fitness was measured using the Cooper Test method. Data were analyzed using the Fisher-Exact test. The results showed that 52 respondents had a risky body mass indeks (64.2%) and 72 respondents had poor physical fitness (88.9%). There is a significant relationship between body mass indeks and physical fitness of security officers in educational institutions (p<0.05). Based on the research data, tis recommended that institutional efforts be made to reduce body mass indeks and increase the physical fitness of security officers through a structured physical exercise program in addition to being balanced with nutritious and balanced nutritional intake.
