Multicultural education in schools is crucial for creating an inclusive, tolerant, and harmonious society in Indonesia. In a multicultural learning environment, students can gain a broader understanding of the world, learn to communicate with people from different cultures and build harmonious relationships. The implementation of multicultural education in schools can also help address discrimination and intolerance that still exist in society and better prepare students to face the challenges of an increasingly complex world. To achieve the implementation of multicultural education in schools steps such as raising awareness and understanding of the importance of multicultural education, creating spaces for dialogue and communication with students, parents, and the community, and providing adequate support and resources are necessary. Abstract

The paradigm of multicultural education is becoming increasingly important in strengthening cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity in Indonesia. Multicultural education in Indonesia is a form of education that values, respects, and strengthens Indonesia's cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity. To achieve the goals of multicultural education, multicultural teaching strategies and models must be applied, including teaching that values cultural and linguistic diversity, integration of cultural content in learning, empowerment of ethnic groups in learning, and the use of information and communication technology in learning. Abstract

Community empowerment in the education sector has become an important focus internationally to improve the quality and access of education for all individuals. A collaborative approach involving schools, families, and communities is an effective strategy for facing educational challenges. The role of society in the academic context is considered essential, goes beyond the boundaries of the classroom, and plays a vital role in supporting the educational process. Community empowerment refers to providing individuals and community groups the capacity to participate actively in the educational process. Collaboration between schools, families, and communities highlights the importance of viewing education as a shared responsibility. Family involvement in education significantly impacts children's academic development and achievement. Collaboration also involves the involvement of local communities as a valuable resource in supporting education. However, challenges such as gaps in the participation of parents from low economic backgrounds or minority groups require special efforts. Effective coordination and communication between various stakeholders are vital in planning and evaluating collaboration. A holistic and sustainable approach is needed to strengthen partnerships between schools, families, and communities to create an inclusive educational environment and stimulate students' holistic growth.
