Eligible TPM continued to increase to 33.69% of the total 127,554, TPM in 2018. NTT Province has 237 (12.76%) TPM that meet health requirements out of a total of 1,857 TPM available. This study aims to determine the application of food hygiene and sanitation to salome snack food handlers around Nostalgia Park in Kupang City. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative conducted at Nostalgia Park in Kupang City starting in May 2023. The number of samples amounted to 17 respondents, with the sampling method being non-probability sampling with purposive sampling techniques. Data were analyzed univariately. The results showed that the application of food hygiene and sanitation with not good enough categories as many as 7 people (41.2%), 6 people (35.3%) had sufficient knowledge related to food hygiene and sanitation, 9 people (52.9%) had negative attitudes related to the implementation of food hygiene and sanitation, and as many as 11 people (64.7%) had poor facilities. Abstract

Stunting is a disorder of child growth and development due to chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, characterized by a child's length or height below the standard. Indirect causes of stunting include ineffective parenting, health services, food availability, economy, parental education, clean water sources and environmental sanitation. The use of contraceptives is also one of the indirect causes of stunting. In 2023, Northwest Rote Subdistrict experienced 338 incidents of stunting and Oetutulu Village experienced 51 prevalence of stunting caused by a lack of good pregnancy planning, so that the birth distance became too close. This research is an analytic survey research using cross-sectional method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of contraceptive use on the incidence of stunting in Oetutulu Village, Rote Ndao Regency. The results showed that there was a significant influence between knowledge (p=0,034) and attitude (p=0,025) of couples of childbearing age on the use of contraceptives. The use of contraceptives also affects the incidence of stunting in Oetutulu Village, Rote Ndao Regency. It is expected that the community of Oetutulu Village can better plan pregnancy programs and use contraceptives as an effort to reduce the incidence of stunting.

Abstract

Public place sanitation requires serious attention because it is a gathering place for many people from various backgrounds. With the majority of Kupang City's population being Christian, churches, as places of worship, are one of the public places whose sanitation needs attention, especially those located in the Kelapa Lima District. Kelapa Lima District is located near the coast, making it prone to flooding and strong winds, which can damage church facilities and disrupt their sanitation. The purpose of this study was to determine the sanitation of the church environment and buildings, as well as its sanitation facilities. This research is a descriptive study using an observational checklist method based on the Church Inspection Form stipulated by Decree of the Minister of Health 288/MENKES/SK/III/2003 concerning Guidelines for the Sanitation of Public Facilities and Buildings. The results indicate that all Evangelical Christian Churches in Timor (GMIT) in the Kelapa Lima District meet environmental and building sanitation requirements with a score of 70% or more and meet sanitation facility requirements with a score of 75%. However, several churches do not meet the requirements for certain variables, such as yard sanitation, toilets, trash cans, and worship equipment. Churches are expected to pay special attention to church sanitation by establishing a regular cleaning schedule, such as washing offering trays and routinely cleaning church toilets, not only on Sundays but also every two weeks.
