Abstract

This study aims to analyze the significance level of the influence of minimum wages and inflation on labor absorption in Indonesia. The research applies a quantitative approach with field research design using secondary data in the form of time series published by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for the period 1993–2023. Data collection was carried out through documentation methods, while data analysis employed multiple linear regression processed using EViews 12 software. The results indicate that, partially, the minimum wage variable has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption in Indonesia. This finding suggests that an increase in the minimum wage contributes to higher employment absorption during the study period. In contrast, the inflation variable shows a positive relationship but does not significantly affect labor absorption. This implies that rising inflation does not directly reduce or increase employment opportunities in a statistically significant manner. Simultaneously, minimum wages and inflation jointly have a significant impact on labor absorption. These findings highlight the crucial role of wage policy in maintaining labor market stability, while the effect of inflation tends to be indirect. Therefore, the government is expected to formulate adaptive minimum wage policies that take inflation into account to create a balance between workers’ welfare and the sustainability of employment opportunities.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the basic considerations in calculating PBB for Regional Governments/Regency Governments. This research is field research. Data collection techniques were carried out using literature studies. To carry out airport assessments, the Cost Approach is used. The assessment approach is carried out by adding up the Land Market Value indication, Building Market Value indication and Facility Component Market Value indication. The research results show that the assessment for airport PBB is not just a taxation instrument, but also a form of regional economic development. With good consideration and calculations for a PBB at the airport, this will provide great benefits and impacts for the government and surrounding communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementation at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) and examine its relationship with the application of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). The research employs a qualitative method using a literature review approach by analyzing relevant scientific sources on CSR and GCG. The findings indicate that CSR implementation at BSI still faces challenges in program effectiveness, targeting accuracy, and alignment with community needs. The allocation of CSR funds, which tends to prioritize sports activities, national events, and ceremonial programs, suggests that the impact on economically vulnerable communities remains indirect and less optimal. This condition reflects the tendency toward symbolic CSR practices, where initiatives are oriented more toward corporate image and legitimacy than toward generating sustainable social impact. Furthermore, the study reveals that the quality of GCG implementation significantly influences CSR effectiveness, particularly regarding transparency, accountability, responsibility, and stakeholder involvement in planning and implementation. Therefore, strengthening GCG principles is essential to improve CSR planning, execution, and evaluation so that programs become more targeted, measurable, and sustainable, while contributing to theoretical understanding of CSR and GCG linkage and offering practical recommendations for companies to enhance accountability and social value creation effectively sustainably.
