Abstract

Ciamis Regency is a potentially developed coffee-producing area in West Java with Arabica and Robusta coffee types. However, in the current marketing process, it is still faced with various obstacles that make the supply chain flow non-optimal. Therefore, in optimizing the Ciamis coffee supply chain management, it is necessary to conduct further research related to supply chain flow, performance, and farmer’s share. This study aims to determine the flow, performance, and farmer’s share of the coffee supply chain in Ciamis Regency. This research uses the descriptive, SCOR, and farmer’s share methods. The results showed that the supply chain flow consisted of material flow in the form of green beans that flowed from upstream to downstream, the flow of information in the form of information (quantity, price, and quality of green beans) that flowed from upstream to downstream and from downstream to upstream, and financial flows in the form of cash payment transactions that flow from downstream to upstream. The performance of coffee supply chain management in Ciamis Regency has an average category with a value of 56.91. The most significant farmer's share value is found in the distribution channel from farmers to inter-regency traders, ending with outside-regency traders.

Abstract

Ciamis Regency is a coffee-producing area in West Java. Most of the coffee beans in Ciamis Regency are distributed outside the regency and are not utilized by local Coffee SMEs which are already widely spread in Ciamis Regency. This is because the quality of the coffee produced has not been able to meet the expectations of the coffee market. In addition, there is no appropriate coffee development strategy according to the conditions faced in Ciamis Regency. This study aims to formulate the appropriate development strategy according to the conditions faced. This study used a sample of key informants consisting of 30 coffee farmers, the head of the agriculture department and the head of the plantation and horticulture sector, the owner of The History Coffee coffee shop and the owner of The Ki Oyo coffee processing company. SWOT analysis is used to formulate a coffee development strategy using valid and reliable internal and external factors, while the QSPM matrix is used to rank the strategic priorities. The results show that the prioritized sequence of strategies is in the form of strategies that optimize the upstream sector first (production sector) before optimizing the downstream sector (supporting and market sector).

Abstract

Keberadaan kelompok tani ternak penting bagi peternak kambing perah karena menjadi media bertukar informasi maupun kerja sama dalam penyediaan sarana produksi, proses produksi susu, maupun pemasaran hasil produksi. Namun, strategi pengembangan untuk menentukan arah usaha diperlukan langkah-langkah dalam mencapai tujuan bisnis. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan pengabdian dengan tujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan pengembangan usaha pada kelompok tani ternak. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, digunakan metode penyuluhan dengan pendekatan sekolah lapangan yang diawali dengan proses observasi dan wawancara. Penyuluhan dilaksanakan pada kelompok tani ternak farm house pure fresh dengan jumlah anggota 6 orang dengan lokus pengabdian di Desa Rancawiru, Kecamatan Baregbeg, Kabupaten Ciamis. Materi penyuluhan berupa faktor internal dan eksternal yang terdapat pada kelompok tani. Hasil penyuluhan diperoleh alternatif serta urutan strategi yang diprioritaskan dalam pengembangan usaha kambing perah.
