Abstract

Encouraging development and strengthening can be the right way to overcome generation Z unemployment, and at the same time be an important step in building a strong economy in the future. This service activity is in the form of training, which is packaged in an entrepreneurship seminar. This activity aims to provide insight and motivation for students with the hope of becoming successful young entrepreneurs and can open up job opportunities to reduce unemployment. This activity was carried out by MA Bahrul Ulum, Besuk District, Probolinggo Regency with class XII participants. The implementation method uses stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages, focusing on the positive impact of participation in entrepreneurship seminar training. The results of this service, the school welcomed well and the participants participated in the activities very enthusiastically during the implementation with 90% of the participants attending and the participants gaining knowledge reached 70% of the participants' understanding, to become a young entrepreneur with more confidence. The implementation of this entrepreneurship seminar training activity has a positive impact on increasing the knowledge of participants to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in themselves by holding entrepreneurial principles that are creative, always innovating, taking risks and taking responsibility. It can be concluded that this seminar activity is the first step for students in doing entrepreneurship so that it can be developed in individual knowledge and skills that can be useful for society and to create job opportunities.

Abstract

Perkembangan pasar ritel di Indonesia, khususnya di daerah perkotaan dan pinggiran seperti Probolinggo, menunjukkan fenomena persaingan yang ketat antara toko lokal dengan jaringan minimarket modern. Toko Metro Store Klenang Kidul Banyuanyar mengalami tantangan besar dalam menarik pelanggan dan mempertahankan penjualan di tengah maraknya pesaing yang mengusung strategi pemasaran yang lebih inovatif dan agresif, terutama melalui pemanfaatan media sosial dan promosi digital. Fenomena ini memaksa toko lokal melakukan adaptasi dan pengembangan strategi pemasaran agar dapat bertahan dan berkembang dalam lingkungan yang kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh Toko Metro Store, dengan pendekatan 4P (Produk, Harga, Tempat, dan Promosi), serta mengevaluasi bagaimana strategi tersebut berkontribusi meningkatkan penjualan dan membangun loyalitas pelanggan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif yang memungkinkan peneliti mendapatkan pemahaman melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di lapangan. Analisis ini diharapkan memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi pengembangan strategi pemasaran toko di masa depan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Toko Metro Store berhasil memanfaatkan media sosial seperti TikTok dan Instagram untuk menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas, khususnya generasi muda, melalui konten visual yang menarik dan penawaran promosi yang relevan. Kombinasi produk berkualitas dengan harga kompetitif serta pelayanan yang ramah menjadi faktor penting dalam menjaga kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala operasional, seperti antrian di kasir saat jam sibuk, secara keseluruhan strategi pemasaran yang diterapkan menunjukkan potensi besar dalam meningkatkan penjualan dan memperkuat posisi toko di pasar lokal yang kompetitif. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya inovasi berkelanjutan dan pendekatan yang berorientasi pada pelanggan dalam mempertahankan daya saing toko ritel lokal.
