Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of police authority in law enforcement in Indonesia, which includes positive and negative aspects as well as implications for security and social justice. The police's broad powers play an important role in maintaining order and security, but also have the potential to give rise to abuse of power and human rights violations. Research methods include literature reviews, secondary data analysis, and case studies to identify and evaluate the impact of police policies and actions. The research results show that police authority contributes to reducing crime rates and increasing the sense of security in society. However, there are serious challenges such as abuse of authority, brutality, discrimination and lack of transparency that reduce public trust in the police. This research underlines the importance of structural and legal reform within the police, increasing supervision and accountability, as well as legal education for the community. Suggestions include the creation of an independent monitoring agency, the development of an effective complaints system, and increased interaction between the police and the community through collaborative programs. With these steps, it is hoped that law enforcement in Indonesia can run more effectively, fairly and transparently, thereby increasing public trust in police institutions.

Abstract

Bullying is a problem that is always discussed. Because bullying cases are still widespread in Indonesia, especially during adolescence. Adolescence is a time when a child still has great curiosity and without guidance and good parenting from parents, behaviors will emerge that will ultimately have an impact on the environment and themselves. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of bullying on teenagers' self-confidence by using quantitative research methods, namely a literature study design, where the data presented by the researcher is the result of previous research analysis. To reveal cases of problems that often arise which can later be followed up. The results of the literature study that we analyzed showed a significant influence on the very low self-confidence of bullying victims. And a child who is a victim of bullying can experience learning disorders in his academic activities. So you have to involve them in positive activities and provide love and trust which includes the perpetrators and victims of bullying and gives them an understanding of the negative impacts of bullying. For this reason, there needs to be participation between schools, teachers and guardians to overcome bullying against children. One researcher also stated that directive counseling is very effective in overcoming low self-confidence behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan ketidakpuasan tubuh pada remaja pengguna TikTok di SMA X. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 265 siswa, terdiri dari 103 laki-laki dan 162 perempuan, yang dipilih menggunakan tabel Isaac Michael. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala ketidakpuasan tubuh yang disusun berdasarkan aspek dari Cooper dkk. (1987) dan skala kepercayaan diri berdasarkan aspek Lauster (1976). Hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa kedua instrumen layak digunakan. Analisis data menggunakan Kendall's Tau-B menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan ketidakpuasan tubuh (r = -0.571, p < 0.001). Artinya, semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri remaja, maka semakin rendah tingkat ketidakpuasan terhadap tubuhnya. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kepercayaan diri dalam upaya mengurangi ketidakpuasan tubuh pada remaja, terutama dalam konteks penggunaan media sosial seperti TikTok.
