Abstract

For the Manggarai people in Ketang Village, Mbaru Gendang have a crucial role and strategic function for the continued existence of their culture. This house has deep significance and meaning for the soul and life of the Manggarai people and culture. Mbaru Gendang provides physical, psychological and spiritual comfort for its residents. In the midst of the increasingly rapid development of globalization, culture has also changed with the times. However, until now the people of Ketang Village still maintain their customs, namely mbaru gendang. This research aims to explain the factors of survival of the mbaru gendang in and explore the symbolic meaning of the mbaru gendang in the Ketang Village community. This research uses the theory of Semiotics Theory: Roland Barthez. The concepts used as guidelines in this research are survival, traditional houses, mbaru gendang, and symbolic meaning. This research uses qualitative research methods through observation, interviews and literature study techniques. The researcher is the main research instrument, assisted by interview guides, voice recorders, cameras and writing tools. The results of the research show that the survival factor of mbaru gendang is the function factor of mbaru gendang, namely, mbaru gendang as a place to live, or for family gatherings, mbaru gendang bate mbaru (as a shelter), mbaru gendang as a place to receive guests, mbaru gendang as a place for lonto leok (meetings). (customary assembly), mbaru gendang as a place where the spirits of ancestors reside, mbaru gendang bate kuni agu if (as an identity) for the Manggarai people in Ketang Village. Mbaru gendang basically contains many symbols that describe the identity of the Manggarai people and culture of the Ketang Village community. Its round shape is a symbol of a mindset and lifestyle that prioritizes unity and togetherness.

Abstract

The K-Pop phenomenon makes it easy for fans to spend money to buy things related to their idols. K-pop fans easily spend money on their idols based on desire, pleasure, satisfaction, and to show their loyalty as fans. This behavior can be called consumptive behavior. This research aims to determine the influence of consumer behavior on loyalty among fans of the South Korean boygroup NCT. The sample in this research was 75 fans who were members of the NCTAZENBALI community. Data analysis techniques use Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Simple Linear Regression Test, T Test, and Coefficient of Determination. The results of the tcount test at a margin of error of 5% show a consumptive behavior of 21,452. This means that there is a significant positive relationship between consumer behavior and someone's loyalty as an NCT fan in Bali. The strength of the relationship formed is at a very strong level with an R of 0.929. Meanwhile, the regression equation model obtained is Y = -6.709 + 0.364X. The resulting coefficient of determination is 86.3%, which is the percentage contribution of variable X to variable Y. Meanwhile the other 13.7% is explained by other factors. Abstrak Fenomena K-Pop membuat penggemarnya mudah mengeluarkan uang untuk membeli sesuatu yang berkaitan dengan idolanya. Penggemar K-pop dengan mudah mengeluarkan uang untuk idolanya didasari oleh keingan berlebih, kesenangan, memberikan kepuasan, dan demi menunjukkan loyalitas mereka sebagai penggemar. Perilaku inilah yang dapat disebut sebagai perilaku konsumtif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku konsumtif terhadap loyalitas pada penggemar boygroup asal Korea Selatan NCT. Sampel pada penlitian ini adalah penggemar yang tergabung dalam komunitas NCTAZENBALI sebanyak 75 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji Validitas, Uji Reliabilitas, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Uji Regresi Linier Sederhana, Uji T, dan Koefisien Determinasi. Hasil pengujian thitung pada margin error 5% menunjukkan perilaku konsumtif sebesar 21,452. Hal ini memiliki arti bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan positif antara perilaku konsumtif dan loyalitas seseorang sebagai penggemar NCT di Bali. Adapun kekuatan hubungan yang terbentuk adalah berada pada tingkatan yang sangat kuat dengan R sebesar 0,929. Sedangkan model persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah Y = -6,709 + 0,364X. Koefisien determinasi yang dihasilkan adalah sebesar 86,3% yang merupakan persentasi kontribusi variabel X terhadap variabel Y. Sementara itu 13,7% lainnya dijelaskan oleh faktor lain.
