Abstract

Sistem ini merupakan sistem informasi penggajian pada CV. Xyz yang selama ini dalam membuat laporan admin masih menggunakan sistem semi komputerisasi yang belum memiliki sebuah standaryang baku. Sistem yang akan dirancang ini berbasiskan pemrograman database dengan menggunakan tahapan perancangan sistem dengan metode waterfall dengan tahapan lima yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, penulisan kode program, pengujian program dan penerapan program. Sedangkan pemodelan yang digunakan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) yang terdiri dari yaitu use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram dan sequence diagram. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah analisis sistem baru pemodelan UML dan terdiri sembilan tabel untuk mendukung pembuatan aplikasi. Pengujian sistem informasi penggajian dengan black box testing dan juga diterapkan dan berjalan dengan baik yang telah di ujicoba di dalam localhost sistem yang telah dinyatakan berhasil untuk membantu membuat laporan dan mencetak slip gaji yang dan diperiksa pimpinan secara online. Aplikasi terbatas pada halaman admin dan juga perlu penambahan verifikasi dashboard agar sistem dapat menjawab informasi data yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan serta diperlukan peningkatan sumber daya manusia, yaitu sumber daya dalam pengoperasian sistem dan mampu merawat, memelihara sistem tersebut dengan baik.

Abstract

The tourism sector has become a significant contributor to economic growth in various regions, including Tomohon City. The development of the tourism industry, especially the agrotourism sector, has become a trend favored by business actors. To take advantage of this trend, a mature strategy is very important to increase the growth and development of agrotourism in Tomohon City. This study aims to analyze the industry development strategy to encourage sustainable and environmentally friendly agrotourism growth. Quantitative methods based on SWOT analysis and the QSPM method as methods that allow objective evaluation of alternative strategies based on internal and external key success factors. The results of the research reviewed produced a concept for designing agrotourism development in the Agrotourism Area that prioritizes the arrangement and restoration of forest functions to maintain environmental sustainability. By implementing a community empowerment system in agrotourism locations, it will provide benefits to the surrounding community in line with the principles of sustainable tourism development. Its novelty value is by combining an environmentally based agrotourism development strategy by considering elements of local wisdom and the socio-cultural conditions of the community. Furthermore, it has implications for the development of interdisciplinary studies between strategic management, ecotourism, and environmental sustainability, and can be used as a model for similar research in other areas. The ecological implications of this strategy lead to the preservation of agrarian landscapes and local biodiversity, while reducing the pressure on the environment from uncontrolled mass tourism.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) into tourism industry operations, focusing on the challenges faced and strategic approaches employed to overcome them. Utilizing a qualitative research method through an extensive literature review and library research, this paper synthesizes existing knowledge on EMS adoption within tourism sectors globally. The tourism industry, while a significant economic contributor, poses considerable environmental risks due to resource consumption, waste generation, and ecosystem disruption. EMS offers a structured framework to mitigate these impacts by coordinating policies, responsibilities, and operational procedures aimed at sustainability. However, the implementation of EMS in tourism is hindered by factors such as limited environmental awareness, financial constraints, and resistance to organizational change. The literature reveals that successful EMS integration requires strategic approaches including stakeholder engagement, continuous innovation, capacity building, and transparent communication. Furthermore, the role of local communities, government regulations, and private sector commitment emerges as critical in fostering effective EMS adoption. The findings underscore that EMS not only enhances environmental performance but also contributes to competitive advantage by aligning tourism operations with global sustainability standards. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the complexities in EMS implementation in tourism and offers practical insights for policymakers, industry practitioners, and researchers aiming to promote sustainable tourism development. Future research directions include empirical studies on EMS impact assessment and the development of tailored EMS models for diverse tourism contexts.
