Abstract

Stock price is one of the benchmarks of company performance, including technology companies. Various macro and micro factors can affect the stock price of technology companies, some of these factors are profitability, liquidity, solvency, inflation, and exchange rates. This study seeks to determine and analyse the effect of financial statement performance and macroeconomics on the stock prices of technology companies in Indonesia. This study uses panel data with 9 technology companies in Indonesia included in the IDXTECHNO industry classification during 2019-2021. The regression model used is panel data regression with hypothesis testing using t test, F test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the performance of financial statements in the profitability dimension had a positive and significant effect, the liquidity dimension had a negative and insignificant effect, the solvency dimension had a positive and insignificant effect. and for macroeconomics in the exchange rate dimension had a negative and significant effect, the inflation dimension had a negative and insignificant effect. This indicates that the use of profitability and exchange rates can increase the share price of technology companies in Indonesia. Therefore, improving the performance of financial statements and economic stability should be further enhanced.

Abstract

Human development has become an imperative for Indonesia amid the ongoingdemographic bonus. However, various challenges persist in the realm of humandevelopment in the country, as evidenced by disparities in Human Development Index(HDI) achievements. This research aims to project Indonesia's HDI for the years 2023, 2024,2035, and the "Golden Indonesia" period in 2045 to discern the developmental trajectory ofHDI and its disparities. Additionally, it seeks to measure the convergence of Indonesia's HDIto attain equitable development. The results of the trend projection estimations indicate thatIndonesia's HDI is projected to be 73.74 in 2023 and 74.28 in 2024, which is anticipated to fallbelow the target set by the government, aiming for an HDI of 75.54 in 2024. Indonesia's HDIis projected to reach 80.22 in 2035 and 85.62 in 2045, categorizing it as 'Very High,' aligningwith the vision for the Golden Indonesia in 2045. Furthermore, conditional convergenceanalysis results indicate that it would take 75 years for provinces with lower HDI to catch upwith those with higher HDI, achieving zero inequality. Based on the estimation results, it isfound that Per Capita Spending on Educational Functions is a significant variableinfluencing HDI convergence.

Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of the global COVID-19 crisis on the resilience of Conventional banking in Indonesia. Conventional banking is often considered strong and resistant to global crises, thus requiring further investigation due to the lack of prior research on this topic. Variables used to represent the global crisis include inflation, interest rates, IDR/USD exchange rates, crude oil prices, and the industrial production index, which affect the Conventional banking resistance index aggregated from total assets, total credit, non-performing loan, third-party funds, operating expenses to operating income, loan to deposit ratio, capital adequacy ratio, and return on assets. The results of the VAR/VECM model indicate that inflation does not have a significant impact in both the short and long term. Meanwhile, interest rates, crude oil prices, and the industrial production index have a significant negative impact in the long term, whereas the IDR/USD exchange rate shows a significant positive effect in the long term. Conventional banks are shown to respond well to changes in independent variables, as demonstrated by the impulse response function results. The variance decomposition values reveal that the influence of independent variables diminishes over time. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that conventional banks are resilient in facing economic crises.
