Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of science learning outcomes through the Project Based Learning model in grade V students of SDN 50 Cakranegara for the 2022/2023 school year. The implementation of learning is carried out as many as 2 cycles, then after learning evaluation activities are carried out by completing test questions to test the absorption of learning material and learning outcomes obtained by students in each cycle. The stages of implementation of each cycle are planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The Project Based Learning model has steps to use it, namely orienting students to problems, organizing learning planning, preparing project creation schedules, presenting and developing work, analysis and evaluation of student work. Overall, the learning process has increased from each cycle, where at the pre-action stage with the average value of science learning outcomes of grade V students under KKM is 64.09 with the completeness of learning outcomes as many as 15 students. Increased in the first cycle with the average value of science learning outcomes obtained by students which was 72.57 with the completeness of learning outcomes as many as 23 students with a percentage of 65.69% and increased again in the second cycle to 80.00 with the completeness of learning outcomes as many as 28 students with a percentage of 84.84%, meaning that the learning process carried out for science learning outcomes through the project based learning model in grade V students of SDN 50 Cakranegara in 2022/2023 experienced Increased.

Abstract

The learning process found students with different learning motivations, so a learning model is needed that can increase student learning motivation, namely the Project Based Learning model. The purpose of this research is to increase students' learning motivation using the Project Based Learning learning model in class IV B of SDN 50 Cakranegara for the 2022/2023 academic year. Research data was collected through a questionnaire that measures 4 elements of motivation, namely attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction (ARCS) through a learning model. The results of class action research showed that in the first cycle the percentage of students who were motivated was 80%, and in the second cycle it increased to 87%. Thus it is concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model can increase student motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes using the Project Based Learning model in thematic learning theme 7 in class I SDN 50 Cakranegara 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is classroom action research. Methods of data collection using questionnaires or questionnaires, documentation and tests. The types of data used are qualitative data and quantitative data. The research subjects were class I students at SDN 50 Cakranegara with a total of 18 students. The results of the study in general showed an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes, namely pre- cycle obtaining a percentage of 62% in the sufficient category C), then in the first cycle it increased to 76% in the good category (B) and increased to 87% in the second cycle with the Very Good category (B) which means that the Project Based Learning model is very effective for use as an improvement in class I student learning outcomes at SDN 50 Cakranegara for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the researcher's discovery of students in class IIIB who like to take quizzes at the end of learning. Initially, this quiz was only done manually in mathematics subjects, where students would form a line and then be asked questions one by one. This quiz is done as a form of evaluation of the learning that the teacher has done. When teachers do Indonesian language learning, such quizzes are not suitable because Indonesian language material has different characteristics from mathematics. So, the purpose of this research is to create a quiz that can contain different characteristics of the material and integrate it with technology that has never been done before, so that learning is more interesting, impressive, and effective for students by using the Wordwall website. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted in two cycles. Data collection instruments used observation and evaluation scores. The results showed that the Wordwall website can improve student learning outcomes in each cycle. In the pre-cycle stage without using the Wordwall web, the learning achievement was only 31%. Then in Cycle 1 after the application of the Wordwall Web there was a fairly high increase of 63% until Cycle 2 there was an increase of 94% in student learning outcomes as a form of evaluation. From these data, it can be seen that the use of Wordwall web is suitable for Indonesian language subjects that have complex material characteristics and is proven to be able to improve students' learning outcomes and have an impact on students' activeness in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the literacy skills of first-grade students at SDN 50 Cakranegara. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, to gradually enhance the quality of learning. Student participation was assessed through classroom observations, while learning outcomes were evaluated using tests administered at the end of each cycle. The research subjects were 10 students, comprising 6 boys and 4 girls. The findings indicate that the use of picture books as a complementary learning medium was successful. The average score during the pre-cycle was 66%, with 50% of students achieving mastery and 50% not yet achieving it. In Cycle I, the average increased to 72.5%, with 80% of students achieving mastery and 20% not yet. In Cycle II, the average rose further to 78.5%, with 90% of students achieving mastery and only 10% not yet achieving it. These results demonstrate that the teacher’s performance in implementing learning activities using picture book media was effective. Based on the results from the pre-cycle, Cycle I, and Cycle II, students’ reading abilities showed improvement after the application of picture book media. The researcher decided not to proceed to the next cycle as the study had met the minimum completion criterion of ≤76% and produced satisfactory outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in improving students’ learning outcomes on the topic of addition and subtraction operations in fourth-grade students at SDN 50 Cakranegara. The method used in this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The population in this study comprised all fourth-grade students at SDN 50 Cakranegara, from which a sample of 28 students was selected based on initial assessment results. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, where students were chosen based on specific criteria—namely, fourth-grade students at SDN 50 Cakranegara with diverse basic mathematical abilities. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, as indicated by the increase in average scores from Cycle I to Cycle II. In Cycle I, the average student score reached 70, while in Cycle II, it increased to 80. Furthermore, the percentage of students achieving mastery learning rose from 64% in Cycle I to 93% in Cycle II. The study concludes that the implementation of the TaRL approach is effective in improving students’ mathematics learning outcomes, particularly in addition and subtraction operations, and can serve as an alternative instructional method that is more responsive to students’ learning needs.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the researcher’s observation that students in Class IIIB enjoy participating in quizzes at the end of learning sessions. Initially, these quizzes were conducted manually during mathematics lessons, where students would line up and be asked questions individually. The quiz served as an evaluation tool for the learning process carried out by the teacher. However, such a method proved less suitable for Indonesian language learning due to the distinct characteristics of the subject matter. Therefore, this research aimed to develop a quiz that accommodates these characteristics while integrating technology to make learning more engaging, meaningful, and effective through the use of the Wordwall website. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, using observation and evaluation scores as data collection instruments. The results indicated that the use of the Wordwall website significantly improved student learning outcomes in each cycle. In the pre-cycle phase, without using Wordwall, the students’ learning achievement was only 31%. In Cycle I, after implementing Wordwall, it increased to 63%, and in Cycle II, it further rose to 94%. These findings demonstrate that the Wordwall website is highly suitable for Indonesian language learning, which involves complex material characteristics, and is proven to enhance students’ learning outcomes while fostering greater engagement and participation in the learning process.
