Abstract

This research aims to determine the strengthening of the content of the Islamic Broadcasting Communication Master's Study website, North Sumatra State Islamic University, Medan. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources for this research include primary data in the form of interviews, observations, and secondary data in the form of documentary studies through literature reviews. Data collection was carried out through structured interviews, observation, and documentation. This research data analysis was carried out by reducing the data, presenting it, and verifying the data. The validity of the data was tested through triangulation techniques. The results of this research show that the content on the website of the Islamic Broadcasting Communication Master's Study Program at UIN North Sumatra Medan is very important to support a targeted and efficient user experience, as well as to promote the study program through marketing and branding strategies. Strengthening content faces obstacles such as limited resources, technological challenges, and lack of involvement of lecturers and students. To overcome this, strategies such as leveraging open source, ongoing training, participation incentives, systematic evaluation, automatic content updates, and accessibility optimization are needed. By applying multimedia theory and the latest technology, study programs can increase attractiveness, provide relevant information, and build a strong reputation at national and international levels.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategic management implemented by the Al-Izzah Campus Da'wah Institute (LDK) at the North Sumatra State Islamic University (UINSU) in forming the millennial preaching generation. The millennial generation has unique characteristics, such as being adaptive to technology, tends to be creative, and is active on social media, so a strategic da'wah approach is really needed. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of LDK Al-Izzah administrators, active members, and students involved in da'wah programs. The research results show that LDK Al-Izzah implements three main stages in strategic management: (1) Planning, through preparing a technology-based vision, mission and da'wah program; (2) Implementation, by utilizing social media, inter-organizational collaboration, and competency-based training; and (3) Evaluation, through regular assessments of program success and its impact on member development. This strategy has proven effective in increasing student participation and creating a millennial generation who is able to preach creatively and relevantly to the challenges of the times. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for other campus Da'wah institutions in developing adaptive and innovative da'wah strategies, as well as supporting the role of campuses as centers for the format ion of future generations of da'wah.

Abstract

This study examines the management strategies of the Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB) in promoting religious moderation in the multicultural society of Medan City. As a key institution fostering interfaith harmony, FKUB utilizes managerial functions—planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating—to design and execute programs such as interfaith seminars, conflict mediation, and capacity building for religious leaders. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research explores the challenges and impacts of these strategies through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. Results indicate that while FKUB's programs significantly enhance interfaith communication and reduce religious tensions, challenges such as societal resistance to moderation concepts, limited funding, and low community participation hinder broader implementation. This study underscores the importance of enhancing FKUB’s resource capacity and outreach strategies to strengthen social harmony. The findings provide practical recommendations for FKUB and similar institutions to effectively implement religious moderation programs within diverse communities.

Abstract

Zakat, Infaq and Alms (ZIS) is an important instrument in Islam for the redistribution of wealth to achieve social welfare. However, its management in Medan City still faces big challenges. This research uses a qualitative approach based on literature studies to explore the ZIS collection and distribution strategy by Lazismu in Medan City. Analysis shows that strategies such as CSR programs, small-scale philanthropy, and the use of social media and digital applications have increased the effectiveness of ZIS management. The findings also highlight the role of technology in increasing the number of muzakki by up to 25% and expanding distribution reach. Main obstacles such as the lack of valid mustahik data and the digital divide require solutions based on technological innovation and collaboration between institutions. This research recommends strengthening digital infrastructure and public education to support the optimization of ZIS management by Lazismu in the city of Medan. Thus, a sustainable strategy can increase the role of ZIS in economic empowerment and community welfare.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran Lembaga Dakwah Majelis Tafsir Al-Qur'an (MTA) dalam pembinaan keagamaan masyarakat sekitar, dengan fokus pada kegiatan dakwah seperti taklim dan mengaji yang bertujuan memberikan pemahaman yang benar mengenai ajaran Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terkait materi dakwah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengorganisir dan menginterpretasikan temuan untuk memahami peran MTA serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam menjalankan misi dakwah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MTA memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan edukasi agama yang sesuai dengan Al-Qur'an dan sunah, serta berupaya menghilangkan praktik-praktik keagamaan yang menyimpang. MTA mengadakan berbagai kegiatan dakwah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman agama masyarakat, meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keberagaman pemahaman agama dan pengaruh budaya lokal. Tantangan lainnya mencakup kesenjangan dalam tingkat pemahaman agama di kalangan masyarakat, serta pengaruh media sosial dan informasi yang tidak sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih dalam tentang kontribusi MTA dalam pembinaan keagamaan masyarakat dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam dakwah yang efektif. Abstract

This article discusses the importance of an organizational culture that supports inclusion in creating a diverse and healthy work environment. The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of inclusive organizational culture and its impact on employee performance and well-being in various organizations. The method used is a literature review, analyzing sources that address the relationship between organizational culture, diversity, and inclusion. The findings indicate that an inclusive organizational culture can enhance job satisfaction, reduce discrimination, and foster better collaboration in the workplace. The article also emphasizes the crucial role of leadership in shaping a culture that supports diversity and inclusion.

Abstract

An inclusive and collaborative organizational culture is a key element in improving organizational performance and creating a healthy and productive work environment. Organizations that have an inclusive culture can increase creativity, innovation, and engagement of employees from various backgrounds. This article reviews the concept of organizational culture, factors that influence cultural inclusion, and challenges and barriers in building it. In addition, this article also discusses the evaluation methods used to measure the success of an inclusive and collaborative culture in an organization. The research method used is a literature study that examines various theories and practices related to organizational culture, motivation, and the implementation of inclusive strategies in the work environment. The results of this study indicate that an inclusive and collaborative organizational culture can be achieved through policies that support diversity, open communication, and training that makes employees aware of the importance of inclusivity. The main challenges faced are conscious and unconscious bias and resistance to change in established cultures in the organization.
