Abstract

The research was carried out at Aji Pangeran Tumenggung Pranoto Samarinda International Airport to find out how the treatment of the existence of wild animals (dogs) affects aviation safety. In this study, a qualitative descriptive approach is used. From December 2020 to February 2021, direct field observations and documentation studies were used to collect data. The results of the research showed that the presence of wild animals entering the manouevering area and movement area often impeded the movement of aircraft. There needs to be special attention must be taken in the handling of wild animals to enhance flight safety at at Aji Pangeran Tumenggung Pranoto Samarinda International Airport. In addition, coordination and management system is needed, such as the establishment of wildlife prevention teams and infrastructure repairs that can be gaps for wildlife entry into manouevering areas and movement areas.

Abstract

Bandar Udara Internasional Raja Haji Fisabilillah adalah salah satu Bandar Udara yang terletak di Kota Tanjungpinang. Unit Pemanduan Lalu Lintas Penerbangan di Raja Haji Fisabilillah dibagi menjadi dua unit yaitu Aerodrome Control Tower dan Approach Control Surveillance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi Load Of Coordination ATC. Dengan belum tersedianya fasilitas AWOS Display di dalam ruangan Approach Control Surveillance mengakibatkan banyaknya koordinasi oleh ATC yang bertugas pada saat terjadi cuaca buruk, sehingga membuat pilot menunggu update informasi meteorologi. ATC yang mengatur di dalam Approach Control Surveillance justru sering berkoordinasi dahulu dengan ATC yang mengatur Aerodrome Control Tower untuk menanyakan weather pada saat itu meskipun sudah memperoleh informasi cuaca dari Unit Meteorologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif. Menurut Nana Syaodih Sukmadinata (2011: 73), penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ditujukan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena-fenomena yang ada, baik bersifat alamiah maupun rekayasa manusia, yang lebih memperhatikan mengenai karakteristik, kualitas, keterkaitan antar kegiatan.

Abstract

Menjamin kesiapan operasional peralatan dan fasilitas dalam unit Pertolongan Kecelakaan Penerbangan dan Pemadam Kebakaran (PKP-PK) merupakan hal yang krusial untuk mendukung respons darurat yang efektif di lingkungan bandara. Penelitian ini merancang SIAGA-PK, sebuah sistem pelaporan digital yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses manajemen dan pelaporan peralatan operasional PKP-PK di Bandar Udara Halim Perdanakusuma. Dengan melakukan transformasi dari pelaporan manual ke sistem digital, SIAGA-PK memungkinkan pemantauan data secara real-time, meningkatkan akurasi inventaris, dan mendorong efisiensi operasional secara menyeluruh. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat mendukung pengelolaan sumber daya yang lebih baik, meminimalisasi kesalahan pelaporan, serta memastikan kepatuhan terhadap standar keselamatan penerbangan. Inovasi digital ini menunjukkan potensi signifikan dalam memperkuat kesiapsiagaan darurat dan koordinasi dalam mewujudkan keselamatan penerbangan yang optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the Comsoft Aeronautical Data Access System (CADAS) is used in the NOTAM workflow at Palembang Aeronautical Information Service and how operators behave when the system is not stable. This research was conducted with a qualitative case study approach, which combined interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis to capture daily operational practices and problems that occurred in real conditions. The results of this study indicated that CADAS is still the main system for NOTAM drafting, verification, and transmission. However, its performance is often disturbed by irregular system errors such as sudden shutdowns, delays in data processing, and intermittent failures to send or receive raw NOTAM information. These disturbances create obstacles in fulfilling time-sensitive procedural requirements especially the ten-minute verification standard as stated in SOP.012. In case of system unresponsiveness, operators switch to alternative procedures through email distribution, Web Flight Plan submission, and manual logbook documentation so as not to cause delays; however, these manual steps require continuous follow-up to avoid gaps in recording. In general, this study underlines the importance of increasing CADAS reliability and ensuring that backup procedures are consistently applied so that continuity can be maintained even if there is an interruption in the system.
