Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health is an effort to create a safe and comfortable work environment, but based on BPJS Employment 2020 data, the number of work accident cases reached 153,044. Reports on the number of work accidents in Indonesia still require action to prevent and deal with work accidents with the existence of dangers that can affect work accidents in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to analyze and provide an overview of hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control for each job in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia. This research method is carried out starting from collecting articles, reducing articles, displaying discussion articles and conclusions using literature review studies. The data source used is national journal articles in the last 10 years (2013-2022). The results of this research found that the most research publication years are 2022 and 2020 with 5 articles each. Based on the type of industry, the most common type of industry is in the service sector with 10 articles. The contribution of this study is to facilitate other research as a reference for articles on K3 and ergonomics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) dalam industri manufaktur untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk dan efisiensi operasional. Melalui tinjauan pustaka sistematis terhadap 15 artikel jurnal dari periode 2021-2024, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab cacat dan solusi perbaikan yang efektif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa metode DMAIC berhasil mengurangi tingkat cacat produk hingga 50%, meningkatkan level sigma, dan mengurangi biaya operasional secara signifikan. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan sistematis dan alat analisis seperti fishbone diagram dan analisis 5W+2H dalam proses perbaikan kualitas. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti perlunya validasi data yang lebih akurat dan evaluasi jangka panjang untuk memastikan keberlanjutan perbaikan. Dengan validasi yang baik dan evaluasi terus menerus, perusahaan dapat memastikan bahwa perbaikan yang dilakukan berdampak positif jangka panjang.

Abstract

Optimization of work methods is a key step to improving operational efficiency, particularly in the manufacturing industry which faces high cost pressures. This research was conducted at PT XYZ, a company specializing in processing cooking spices and sauces, located in the strategic industrial area of Jababeka, Cikarang. The study focused on the packing line of the filling machine ML6 with the aim of identifying, analyzing, and optimizing work methods using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach. The results showed that implementing the DMAIC method successfully reduced idle time, balanced the workload among operators, and increased packing line productivity. These improvements led to annual cost savings of Rp244,674,216 and a workforce efficiency increase of 25%. Thus, the DMAIC approach has proven effective in addressing operational problems and significantly contributes to cost reduction as well as increased production process efficiency

Abstract

PT ABC merupakan perusahaan dalam negeri yang bergerak di bidang precision metal parts, welding sub-assy serta dies maker yang menghargai dan memperhatikan seluruh aspek berkaitan dengan K3, kesejahteraan, keselamatan dan kesehatan karyawannya. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah sosialisasi pada tiap departemen kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencegah kemungkinan resiko kecelakaan kerja dan mengetahui pengendalian resiko serta penerapan pengendalian terhadap rencana kerja K3. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pentingnya sosialisasi K3 bagi operator mesin stamping untuk mencegah kecelakaan kerja di PT ABC. Pengumpulan data melalui dari observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner yang kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan metode HIRADC (Hazard Identification, Assessment, and Determining Control) untuk mengidentifikasi resiko, menilai resiko dengan indeks keparahan dan matriks resiko, serta lebih lanjut mengidentifikasi tingkat resiko secara spesifik.
