Abstract

Many studies show the findings of public facilities' cases still inaccessible to people with disabilities and see the importance of a design, especially in the interior sector, that can produce a built environment that is user-friendly and barrier-free. Accessibility rights for persons with disabilities have been regulated in various regulations ranging from regulations in the central government to laws, government regulations to the minister of public works and regional regulations. There is a regulation of the minister of public works and public housing of the Republic of Indonesia No.14 2017, which regulates the provision of facilities in buildings and environments according to the needs of all age groups and conditions of physical, mental, and intellectual limitations, or sensory-based on the function of the building to make it easier for users and visitors in their activities in public buildings. However, this guideline has not been discussed in detail. This research is intended to review universal design standards in the interior design process, especially in public buildings.

Abstract

Rumah susun adalah bangunan gedung bertingkat yang dibangun dalam suatu lingkungan yang terbagi dalam bagian-bagian yang distrukturkan secara fungsional, baik dalam arah horizontal maupun vertikal dan merupakan satuan-satuan yang masing-masing dapat dimiliki dan digunakan secara terpisah, terutama untuk tempat hunian yang dilengkapi dengan bagian bersama, benda bersama, dan tanah bersama. Fokus penelitian mengambil permasalahan pada pola aktivitas yang terjadi di area pedestrian Rusunawa Panggungharjo Blok B sebagai bentuk adaptabilitas penghuni, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian behavior yakni studi tentang hubungan arsitektur dan perilaku dalam kaitannya dengan tata ruang studi kasus area pedestrian dan perilaku berupa pola aktivitas yang terjadi di area pedestrian rumah susun. Dengan luas yang terbatas terkait fisik bangunan peneliti melihat beberapa fenomena yang ditemukan di Rusunawa Panggungharjo, terjadinya penambahan fungsi selain tempat tinggal, penataan perabot yang kurang sesuai untuk ruang terbatas, dan area pedestrian yang dijadikan tempat aktivitas sosial. Kemampuan lingkungan untuk dapat menampung perilaku berbeda yang belum ada sebelumnya bentuk adaptibilitas pada area pedestrian Rusunawa Panggungharjo.

Abstract

Telkomsel Call Center Office is the call center service office for 24 hours which is facilitated by the telecommunications operator service companies Telkomsel in order to optimize the quality of service to its customers. Service optimisation is certainly influenced by internal company both in terms of the work system as well as where its taken place. One case study is taken, i.e. Telkomsel Call Center Office in Gedung Infomedia Nusantara -Bandung. Interior design on this Office has not applied optimally where affect the satisfaction of workers, mainly call center agents. This often raises the boredom on the agents whom do their work repeatedly to serve the consumers who don't rarely give them complaints or criticism. Using a research method of qualitative descriptive (comparative analysis of the condition in existing interior design with the theory of psychological space (five aspects which can form a good workplace design)), it is evident that Telkomsel Call Center Office interior design is not applied optimally to support satisfaction of workers in order to optimize its performance.

Abstract

Pasca Pandemic Covid 19 masyarakat berhadapan dengan "New Normal" yang artinya harus berkehidupan dengan standar protokol kesehatan. Termasuk di lingkungan masjid sebagai fasilitas publik membutuhkan standar proptokol kesehatan. Salah satu protokol kesehatan adalah selalu mencuci tangan dan social distancing. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut maka dibutuhkan fasilitas pendukung berupa sarana kebersihan dan ketertibaan dalam menyimpan sandal/sepatu di lingkungan masjid. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi kepada masyarakat terkait mengenai upaya pencegahan penyebaran virus Covid 19 di lingkungan tempat ibadah khususnya Masjid Al Huda Cluster Rancamanyar. Metoda pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah deskriptip evaluatif, analisis dan implementasi desain. Desain Furnitur Multifungsi, Pintar Dan Sehat pada objek pengabdian masyarakat ini berfungsi sebagai fasilitas pendukung bagi kenyamanan jamaah dalam menyimpan sandal atau sepatu dan tetap menjaga kebersihan sesuai protokol kesehatan dari dinas kesehatan. Furnitur Multifungsi, Pintar Dan Sehat ini sebagai sebagai bentuk kepedulian dan respon terhadap kondisi saat ini pasca pandemik Covid 19. Furnitur Multifungsi, Pintar Dan Sehat ini di sebuah masjid merupakan suatu bentuk pelayanan terhadap masyarakat/jamaah Masjid Al - Huda untuk mendukung pencegahan penyebaran virus covid 19 dan menyambut kehidupan "New Normal", sehingga masyarakat/jamaah merasa nyaman dan aman. Peningkatan mutu pelayanan warga harus didukung oleh fasilitas yang layak (tertata dengan baik) dan sesuai standar protokol kesehatan, selain itu diharapkan dapat memberikan unsur edukasi dalam menghadapi kehidupan “New Normal” pada keseluruhan bermasyarakat bagi warga setempat khususnya di lingkungan pemukiman Rancamanyar. Abstract

Potensi seni budaya tradisional di Kabupaten Kutai Timur sama dengan potensi daerah lain di Kalimantan yang memiliki nafas kesamaan budaya tradisional. Beberapa motif tradisional yang ada diwilayah ini seperti motif wakaroros & ringin duduk, belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Sementara kemampuan para pengrajin belum optimal menerapkan potensi lokal mulai dari potensi bahan kayu yang melimpah, teknik ukir, ragam hias-ornamen, warna, dan jenis kerajinan yang dihasilkan masih sangat sedikit. Termasuk potensi pertukangan di wilayah ini sebagai pelaku industri furnitur/mebel masih sangat terbatas dalam mengelola & mengolah pekerjaan kusen, pintu, jendela. Penyelenggarakan pelatihan kepada masyarakat yang memiliki potensi keahlian pertukangan mebel/furnitur & para pengrajin dengan memberikan pelatihan furnitur, ukir kayu & finishing dengan menitik beratkan kepada wawasan desain, produksi & citra lokal daerah Kutai Timur. Sasaran pelatihan ini adalah masyarakat yang memiliki potensi keahlian pertukangan mebel/furnitur perwakilan dari daerah Kecamatan Rantau Pulung, Kecamatan Sangata & daerah Kecamatan Bengalon. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan wawasan desain, teknik produksi furnitur, ukir kayu & finishing diharapkan beberapa potensi lokal dari daerah Kutai Timur yang bisa dikembangkan dalam desain furnitur & kerajinan dengan menerapkan unsur-unsur motif, warna, tekstur, bahan & teknik yang sudah digunakan oleh masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

Modern Islamic boarding schools are boarding schools which use the madrasa curriculum and teach general knowledge by combining the pesantren system and general education. Students, teachers, and school administrators live in dormitories and study in one area with various activities and the availability of existing facilities. In this study, it will focus on the supporting facilities provided by the dormitory in meeting the needs of its users, including the availability of a laundry room, dormitory dining room, male & female dormitories, dormitory musyrifah rooms, visitor living rooms, and housing for ustadz/ustadzah. By using qualitative research methods, this study will discuss the dormitory room facilities in modern Islamic boarding schools by taking samples from 4 Islamic boarding schools to find out what type of room typology is needed. Based on the results of the comparative data, it can be concluded that there are differences in the facilities and needs of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

Sharia hotels are accommodation services needed by Muslim tourists which have increased since the government began developing halal tourism. In the design of the Narapati hotel which refers to Ministerial regulation No. 2 of 2014 concerning guidelines for the operation of the Sharia hotel business with a classification of Hilal 1, which consists of several aspects. It is necessary to pay attention to the separation between men and women on each floor or room area, facilities, and circulation of visitors. The application of the latest Islamic concept that combines the classic style (existing hotel) with Islamic architecture (Islamic patterns such as calligraphy, geometric, arabesque, arch), can present an attractive form with a current, unique and luxurious feel, the application of colors that follow the Islamic sunnah can bring blessings. These things are applied in order to stay away from deviant behavior, create a safe, comfortable atmosphere for hotel visitors so as to generate interest in coming back.

Abstract

In learning activity processes in Islamic boarding schools, students must study and live in a dormitory. It functions to replace a residential home where the privacy aspect should be taken into consideration. This study aims to observe the privacy aspects closely related to the female students' bedrooms, covering six elements examined in five case studies, including the sex-segregated dormitories, the main function of staying, visual privacy on the dimensions height of the windows, acoustic privacy, and olfactory privacy in terms of the connection between dormitory rooms. It was found that the privacy aspect in the dormitory room still lacked attention due to the addition of space functions and bathroom facilities in it. Meanwhile, adding personal facilities, such as storage and study areas, could enhance the students' privacy. Especially for the type of student bedroom, it is necessary to provide a place for drying clothes by utilizing the balcony area. Besides that, it is required to pay attention to the type, dimensions direction of window openings so that the level of privacy of female students will be more optimal.

Abstract

Educational facilities are an important factor in supporting the success and target learning outcomes. Darul Hikam Integrated School (DHIS) - Primary as a school that upholds moral values and develops student creativity, so it requires the support of educational facilities that are in accordance with learning targets, educational programs and of course the school's vision and mission. The purpose of this community service is to help solve space or facility problems in the Darul Hikam Integrated School (DHIS) - Primary for rearrangement that applies the concept of interior space flexibility arrangement to educational facilities. The expected results of this activity are design recommendations that answer problems in educational facilities at Darul Hikam Integrated School (DHIS) – Primary. The method used in this research is problem solving based on existing data and then generating design recommendations. The activity stages are initial data collection, FGD, survey of existing data, data analysis, presentation to partners, design development and the last is presentation or dissemination of activity results. The boundaries/scope of the object of discussion (according to the partner's proposal) are supporting facilities which include hall rooms, lobbies, student waiting rooms, reading corners, lunch drop rooms and circulation pathways. Recommendations for the next stage are library facilities, commonroom and teacher's room.
