Abstract

The development of the Internet of Things (IoT) has enabled better integration between electronic devices and internet networks, creating new opportunities for remote control of devices. One example is controlling lights using Telegram as a communication interface. This research aims to design an IoT lighting control system connected to Telegram, allowing users to access and control lights remotely via the Telegram application. The system consists of a sensor to detect light intensity, a microcontroller to process data, and a communication module to send instructions to the lamp via relay. Users can send commands via Telegram to turn lights on, off, or adjust the brightness of lights according to their preferences, as well as program light responses based on environmental conditions. By leveraging a broad IoT infrastructure and communications platforms, such as Telegram, the system provides easy access and flexible control, offering the potential for practical implementation in a variety of contexts, including smart homes, offices, or urban environments.

Abstract

This research focuses on improving library performance through the implementation of an information-based system. The system is designed to help libraries manage information resources more effectively, enhance accessibility, and support learning and research processes. The research methods include problem identification, literature review, knowledge-based system design, and prototype evaluation before full implementation. The benefits of implementing this system include increased operational efficiency, improved service quality, support for learning and research, knowledge management, and information literacy. The data model used applies case-based techniques with similarity calculations between user needs and the information of the books owned, involving features such as genre and publication year. The similarity calculation results are used to provide book recommendations to library visitors. For example, the system recommends the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" because it shares the same genre and publication year as "The Alchemist". Process modeling has proven to be an essential tool in developing an effective and efficient system. This research also includes relevant references to support the findings and methodologies used.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan layanan jaringan internet berbasis WiFi RT/RW Net telah menjadi solusi utama bagi kebutuhan akses internet masyarakat di kawasan pemukiman. Namun, permasalahan churn atau berhentinya pelanggan secara tiba-tiba menjadi tantangan serius yang dihadapi oleh penyedia layanan seperti PT Nusa Data Multimedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan segmentasi pelanggan berdasarkan perilaku konsumsi data dan keterlambatan pembayaran menggunakan metode K-Means Clustering. Data dianalisis terhadap 200 pelanggan aktif selama periode Februari–April 2025. Proses klasterisasi menghasilkan tiga kelompok pelanggan dengan tingkat potensi churn yang berbeda (tinggi, sedang, rendah). Evaluasi menggunakan Silhouette Score menghasilkan nilai 0.4075 yang menunjukkan kualitas segmentasi cukup baik. Hasil ini memberikan dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam merancang strategi retensi pelanggan yang tepat sasaran.
