Abstract

Aquaponics is a cultivation system that combines aquaculture (fish farming) and hydroponics (soil-less plant cultivation) in an integrated environment. To enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of aquaponic systems, technology is needed that can automatically and in real-time monitor and control various environmental parameters. This research aims to design and build a smart aquaponic control and monitoring system using Firebase and Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The system utilizes sensors to measure crucial parameters such as water pH, temperature, and dissolved oxygen levels. Data from these sensors are sent to the Firebase platform via IoT connections, enabling remote monitoring and control through a web-based application. Test results show that the developed system is capable of providing real-time data and issuing automatic notifications if any parameters are outside optimal ranges. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the productivity and sustainability of aquaponics by facilitating efficient management and maintenance.

Abstract

This research focuses on improving library performance through the implementation of an information-based system. The system is designed to help libraries manage information resources more effectively, enhance accessibility, and support learning and research processes. The research methods include problem identification, literature review, knowledge-based system design, and prototype evaluation before full implementation. The benefits of implementing this system include increased operational efficiency, improved service quality, support for learning and research, knowledge management, and information literacy. The data model used applies case-based techniques with similarity calculations between user needs and the information of the books owned, involving features such as genre and publication year. The similarity calculation results are used to provide book recommendations to library visitors. For example, the system recommends the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" because it shares the same genre and publication year as "The Alchemist". Process modeling has proven to be an essential tool in developing an effective and efficient system. This research also includes relevant references to support the findings and methodologies used.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan arsitektur chatbot berbasis Natural Language Processing guna mengotomatisasi layanan informasi akademik. Latar belakang permasalahan menunjukkan bahwa layanan informasi akademik yang masih bersifat manual seringkali menimbulkan keterlambatan, beban administratif yang tinggi, serta keterbatasan akses informasi di lembaga pendidikan. Inovasi teknologi chatbot berbasis NLP menjadi solusi yang menjanjikan untuk menyediakan layanan yang cepat, akurat, dan mudah diakses secara otomatis dan real-time. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan prototyping dalam perancangan arsitektur sistem. Arsitektur modular dikembangkan dengan mengintegrasikan Telegram Bot API sebagai antarmuka utama, Node.js sebagai backend untuk mengelola alur komunikasi, dan library Node-NLP sebagai NLP Engine yang bertanggung jawab untuk intent recognition dan entity extraction. Data informasi akademik dari institusi pendidikan, seperti jadwal pelajaran, nilai siswa, dan informasi pembayaran, dikelola dalam knowledge base berbasis JSON. Jurnal ini akan memaparkan secara rinci detail perancangan arsitektur, justifikasi pemilihan teknologi yang digunakan, serta alur kerja sistem yang memungkinkan interaksi alami dengan pengguna. Arsitektur yang diusulkan diharapkan mampu menjadi fondasi kuat untuk implementasi chatbot yang efektif dalam konteks layanan informasi akademik, berkontribusi dalam mengurangi beban kerja staf administrasi dan mempercepat distribusi informasi penting kepada pengguna.
