Abstract

As time progresses, technology continues to develop, following the increasing human needs for technology. The demand for computers and application programs has been steadily rising and evolving. In contemporary life, nearly every aspect requires technological assistance, including the aspect of conducting transactions. One of the most frequently used technologies in transactions with clients is the cashier application. Desktop-based cashier applications offer numerous advantages, such as easier accessibility from anywhere and time-saving data processing during sales transactions. PT. Lafiye Mode Indonesia has been conducting its sales transactions using Microsoft Excel, but due to the large volume of data processed, which often amounts to hundreds of entries, errors frequently occur, leading to unrecorded transaction data. Therefore, a cashier application is essential for any business field. This paper presents the design and development of a desktop-based cashier application aimed at recording every sold item and incoming funds more accurately in a database. The desktop-based cashier application will assist PT. Lafiye Mode Indonesia in facilitating transactions with clients and ensuring better-organized data recording, thereby making the administrative system more transparent in all aspects.

Abstract

The process of signature binarization is a crucial step in automatic signature recognition and verification. This research develops, implements, and evaluates three thresholding techniques—simple, adaptive, and Otsu—for signature binarization using the OpenCV2 library. Simple thresholding uses a single threshold for the entire image; adaptive thresholding adjusts the threshold based on different parts of the image; and the Otsu method determines the threshold automatically through histogram analysis. This study compares the effectiveness and reliability of these three techniques under various lighting conditions. The results indicate that simple thresholding is less effective in dark lighting conditions, while adaptive thresholding shows improved performance in handling lighting variations. The Otsu method provides the best results with its ability to automatically determine the optimal threshold, producing accurate and clear binary images.

Abstract

A management information system (MIS) is a combination of hardware and software used to collect, process, and store information that is useful for management in making better decisions. This study aims to develop and implement a management information system that can optimize transaction data management at PT. Lafiye Mode Indonesia. The main focus of this research is to evaluate how MIS can improve operational efficiency, reduce inventory storage costs, and enhance the speed and accuracy of transaction data processing. The research methods used include interviews, observation, and literature study. The results show that the implementation of a desktop-based MIS can facilitate the company in conducting sales transactions and data recording, thereby reducing human errors and increasing administrative efficiency. The integration of a Point of Sale (POS) system also helps manage inventory and payments more effectively. In conclusion, this desktop-based cashier application provides a systematic and adaptive framework to improve service quality and company management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan berbasis web yang membantu pengelola Relatif Kopi dalam menentukan menu minuman populer secara lebih objektif dan tidak hanya bergantung pada intuisi, sehingga hasilnya lebih sesuai dengan preferensi pelanggan. Berdasarkan identifikasi masalah, belum terdapat metode terstruktur untuk menilai menu maupun membandingkan kriteria secara sistematis. Rumusan masalah penelitian mencakup perancangan sistem, penentuan bobot kriteria, proses perhitungan prioritas menu, serta penyajian hasil sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan. Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) digunakan dengan kriteria rasa, harga, tampilan, dan ketersediaan. Perhitungan dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu penyusunan matriks perbandingan berpasangan, normalisasi matriks, perhitungan bobot prioritas, serta pengujian konsistensi menggunakan rumus: CI = (λmaks – n) / (n -1) dan CR = CI/CR. Hasil akhir perhitungan manual menunjukkan bahwa Latte memiliki prioritas tertinggi sebesar 30,35%, diikuti Espresso sebesar 29,06%, Cappuccino 24,06%, dan Americano 16,53%, dengan nilai konsistensi memenuhi syarat CR ≤ 0,1. Hasil manual ini digunakan sebagai acuan untuk memvalidasi hasil perhitungan otomatis pada sistem. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode black-box untuk memastikan fungsi berjalan sesuai kebutuhan, dan white-box untuk memastikan proses perhitungan AHP konsisten dengan hasil perhitungan manual. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menghasilkan rekomendasi menu minuman populer secara akurat, terukur, dan berbasis data. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat membantu pengelola Relatif Kopi dalam mengambil keputusan menu secara lebih efektif dan mendukung strategi bisnis.
