Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the phenomenon of wafak which is believed by the Banjar community. Many Banjar communities use wafak for various purposes. This is certainly related to the beliefs of the Banjar community itself, so wafak needs to be seen in the spiritual view of the Banjar community. This research aims to find out wafak in the beliefs of the banjar community and how the banjar community uses wafak in relation to spirituality. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The results of the research show that wafak is a culture of the Banjar community in South Kalimantan which is believed to be an intermediary to be a guardian, a mediciner, a benefactor, a summoner of sustenance to the authority of its users. Wafak is found in many forms and types, as well as with diverse functions. The banjar community believes that wafak is only a form of effort and prayer, and remains convinced that everything in the world is governed only by Allah swt. Many Banjar communities use wafak as tawasul or a form of tabaruk (taking blessings) from the writings on the wafak. And continue to exercise the nature of being a servant, that is, by trying. Even the process of making and using wafak is not separated from the hope that it will always be accepted by Allah swt. Keywords: Wafak, spiritual, Banjar community. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena wafak yang diyakini oleh masyarakat Banjar. Banyak masyarakat Banjar menggunakan wafak dengan berbagai macam tujuan. Hal tersebut tentunya terkait dengan kepercayaan masyarakat Banjar sendiri, maka wafak perlu dilihat dalam pandangan spiritual masyarakat Banjar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui wafak dalam kepercayaan masyrakat banjar dan bagaimana masyarakat banjar menggunakan wafak dalam hubungannya dengan spiritualitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wafak merupakan budaya masyarakat Banjar di Kalimantan Selatan yang dipercaya bisa menjadi perantara untuk menjadi penjaga, pengobatan, pengasih, pemanggil rezeki hingga untuk kewibawaan bagi penggunanya. Wafak banyak ditemukan dengan berbagai bentuk dan jenis, serta dengan fungsi yang beragam. Masyarakat banjar menyakini bahwa wafak hanyalah bentuk ikhtiar dan do’a, dan tetap yakin bahwa segala sesuatu di dunia diatur hanya oleh Allah swt. Banyak masyarakat banjar yang menggunakanwafak sebagai tawasul atau bentuk tabaruk (mengambil keberkahan) dari tulisan yang ada pada wafak tersebut. Dan tetap menjalankan fitrah sebagai seorang hamba yaitu dengan berusaha. Bahkan proses pembuatan dan penggunaan wafak pun tidak terlepas dari harapan agar senantiasa dikabulkan oleh Allah swt. Abstract

This study used descriptive qualitative method. The sources of data in this study consisted of primary and secondary data, primary data, namely from the AlQur'an, namely surah al-Imran, and secondary data from books related to the theme of this research. This research is a library research, namely collecting data and information through materials contained in the library. The results of the study show that there are 40 verses of Amar and 10 verses of Nahi in surah al-Imran. And the meaning of the verses that contain Amar include 7 verses with the original meaning (hakiki) and 9 sentences with the meaning of irshad, 11 sentences of Tahdid, 9 sentences of doa , 1 sentence of Ta'jiz, 2 sentences of Takwin, 1 sentence of Takhyir, iltimas 1 sentence, addawam 1 sentence, ta'ajub 1 sentence. And the meaning of verses that contain Nahi, among others, is one verse of original meaning, and with the meaning of Irshad 5 sentences, Do'a 1 sentence, and I'tinas 1 sentence.Keywords: Al-amru, An-nahyi, Surah Al- Imran

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembelajaran bahasa Arab memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa secara efektif. Namun, pada kenyataannya, masih banyak guru yang mendominasi proses belajar dengan metode ceramah dan pendekatan tradisional, seperti yang ditemukan di MA Assunniyah Tambarangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola interaksi verbal antara guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan pendekatan Verbal Interaction Categories System (VICS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara untuk memperoleh data interaksi verbal di kelas XII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi verbal selama pembelajaran didominasi oleh guru, dengan keterlibatan siswa yang rendah. Pola ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti metode ceramah yang digunakan guru, budaya pesantren salafiyah yang menekankan adab kepada guru, serta rendahnya rasa percaya diri siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi satu arah masih mendominasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab, sehingga menghambat perkembangan keterampilan berbahasa siswa secara aktif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pendekatan interaktif dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dan efektivitas pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran bahasa arab, interaksi verbal, sistem pengkodean VICSABSTRACT Arabic language learning plays a vital role in developing students’ effective communication skills. However, in practice, many teachers still dominate the learning process through lecture-based and traditional methods, as observed at MA Assunniyah Tambarangan. This study aims to analyze the verbal interaction patterns between teachers and students in Arabic language learning using the Verbal Interaction Categories System (VICS). A descriptive-analytical method was employed, using observation and interviews to gather data on classroom interactions in grade XII. The findings reveal that classroom communication is largely teacher-centered, with limited student involvement. Several factors contribute to this pattern, including the use of lecture methods, the influence of salafiyah pesantren culture emphasizing respect toward teachers, and students' low self-confidence. This dominance of one-way communication hinders the development of students’ active language skills. Therefore, this research highlights the need for a more interactive teaching approach in Arabic language instruction to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.Keywords: Arabic language learning, verbal interaction, VICS.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the implementation of lughat muḥāwarah learning at the Wustho level in the Islamic boarding school Raudhatut Thalibin. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the learning process as it occurs in its natural setting. Data were collected through direct classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of relevant documentation such as lesson plans and learning materials. The findings indicate that lughat muḥāwarah learning is implemented using a variety of interactive and communicative methods. These methods include paired dialogues to encourage direct communication, simulations of daily situations to connect learning with real-life contexts, role-playing activities to improve speaking fluency and confidence, and habituation programs that require students to use Arabic in their daily interactions. Such approaches help create a language-rich environment that supports students’ speaking skills. Several supporting factors contribute to the effectiveness of this learning process, including the availability of appropriate and relevant textbooks, strong teacher commitment, and the existence of special programs such as Arabic Day. However, the study also identifies inhibiting factors, such as students’ low self-confidence, limited opportunities for practice, and less-than-optimal learning motivation. Therefore, this study recommends increasing teacher creativity, maximizing the use of interactive learning media, and encouraging Arabic language practice beyond the classroom to achieve more optimal learning outcomes.
