Abstract

Desa Buahan, Kecamatan Payangan, Kabupaten Gianyar merupakan desa yang memiliki potensi menjadi desa wisata dengan atraksi yang dimilikinya. Namun, potensi itu tidak diseimbangkan dengan kesadaran masyarakat untuk mengembangkan pariwisata di daerahnya. Penelitian ini berfokus kepada identifikasi potensi melalui teori 4A, yaitu Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities, dan Ancillary. Hasil identifikasi tersebut akan menghasilkan pengembangan desa wisata dengan pembuatan paket wisata sesuai dengan potensi yang ada. Untuk mencapai keberhasilkan pengembangan Desa Buahan sebagai desa wisata, maka diperlukan kesadaran dari masyarakat untuk mengelola wisata yang akan dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The development of tourist attractions is closely related to community participation. Local communities as tourism actors and also resource owners, should be involved in developing tourist attractions because community participation can help build various facilities needed for tourist attractions. The aim of this research is to determine the role of the community in developing the Lembu Putih tourist attraction. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. This research involved six sources, and data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results explain the potential of the Lembu Putih tourist attraction and the participation of local communities in tourism development starting from planning, implementation, to evaluation and taking advantage of the tourist attraction. In developing the Lembu Putih tourist attraction there are several inhibiting factors faced by the manager, but behind these obstacles the manager has a future program to develop the Lembu Putih tourist attraction, such as arranging the tourist area, adding tourism support facilities.

Abstract

Ecotourism Jempanang Dalas is trying to encourage the number of tourist visits. However, tourist visits are still considered not optimal. This study discusses existing conditions and examines strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and threats to formulate strategies and programs for the development of Jempanang Dalas Ecotourism in Belok Sidan Village optimally and maintain its sustainability. This study uses a quantitative and qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, indepth interviews with Belok Sidan Village Head, Petang Subdistrict Jempanang Dalas ecotourism manager  local traditional leaders. Then an analysis was carried out using the SWOT method. Based on the SWOT analysis, alternative strategies that can be applied to the development of Ecotourism in Japan Dalas were obtained, namely  strategies for creating quality ecotourism products,  strategies for increasing promotion through the application of information technology,  strategies for developing human resource competencies and marketing strategy for ecotourism products for tourists who stay in villas and tourist attractions in Belok Sidan Village and its surroundings.
