Abstract

The care provided by midwives throughout the life cycle, including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and family planning, is known as comprehensive midwifery. Midwives provide this care to their patients to carry out their duties as midwives. Lactation massage targets several areas, including the breasts, back, shoulders, and neck. The basic idea behind lactation massage is to induce a state of relaxation in the mother, which in turn increases breast milk production by the hormone oxytocin. Since most women do not produce enough breast milk after giving birth, lactation massage aims to stimulate breast milk production. This is due to the fact that a woman's energy levels will be very different after giving birth compared to when she was pregnant, when her milk supply was more stable and the breastfeeding mother felt calmer. This research uses case study methodology, which is a type of descriptive research. By utilizing trackers. There will be a decrease in calcium levels in breast milk when a postpartum mother uses lactation massage to stimulate breast milk production for thirty minutes, twice a day. After giving new mothers a 30-minute lactation massage, researchers found that their breast milk production increased. In short: Women who have recently given birth can benefit from lactation massage by increasing the amount of breast milk they produce.

Abstract

Basic Health Research 2018, the KIPI rate in Indonesia with high fever was 31.2%, abscess 15.3% and seizures 2.9%. There are 2 ways of treatment that can be done if a child has a fever after DPT, namely pharmacological therapy and non-pharmacological therapy. One of the non-pharmacological treatments is red onion compresses. The content of red onions, including propyl disulfide and propyl metal disulfide, which are volatile, when applied to the body, will allow accelerated heat transfer from the body to the skin. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of red onions in reducing the body temperature of children with fever after DPT Pentabio immunization. The design of this study used a non-equivalent control group with pretest-posttest. The population of all infants and toddlers who received DPT Pentabio immunization at the Meral Health Center UPT in July 2024 was 40 children. Sampling used the accidental sampling technique with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis used SPSS. The results of the study obtained the average temperature before giving the red onion compress was 38.54 and after giving the red onion compress was 38.34. It can be concluded that red onions are effective in reducing the body temperature of children with fever after DPT Pentabio immunization. The results of this study can provide input in the management of Giving Red Onion Compresses to Reduce the Body Temperature of Children with Fever After Immunization

Abstract

Anemia is a medical condition hemoglobin is less than normal limits. In the world, the prevalence of anemia is 37%. Indonesia, 33.7% of adolescent girls suffer from anemia. Lack of micronutrients such as iron can cause anemia. Red dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) is one of the fruits that is believed to increase hemoglobin. This fruit contains organic acids, protein, minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron as well as vitamin C. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of giving dragon fruit juice on increased hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls. Quasi-experimental research design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The research was conducted at SMPN 6 Batam in April - July 2024 with a population of all VIII female students at SMPN 6 Batam in 2024 totaling 193. With a sample of 22 respondents taken by purposive sampling. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using SPSS. The research results showed that the mean HB level before the intervention was 10.91 and after the intervention of giving dragon fruit juice was 11.59. P value = 0.000 (α < 0.05), which means that statistically there is a significant difference in mean before and after giving dragon fruit juice, so it can be concluded that giving dragon fruit juice is effective in increasing hemoglobin levels in young women. It is hoped that young women can increase awareness of maintaining their dayly nutrition, and dragon fruit can be used as an alternative fruit that can be consumed to provide sufficient iron. Abstract

The progress of the labor process depends heavily on adequate uterine contractions. His or uterine contractions during the labor process are the result of a complex mechanism that occurs in the smooth muscles of the uterus. One of the contents of dates, namely tannins, serotonin, calcium, linoleic acid, plays an important role in the contraction of smooth muscles of the cervix. Dates also affect oxytocin receptors and make the uterine muscles respond better to oxytocin, thus strengthening contractions. The underlying mechanism of the influence of dates on estrogen and progesterone levels. A study reported that date extract was shown to increase estrogen and progesterone levels. So, dates are useful in maintaining energy and strengthening uterine muscles. Dates also help the uterus stretch and prepare the uterus for the fetus to pass through during the labor process. Quantitative research method with This type of research is pre-experiment design. The design of this study is a posttest only control group design. The purpose of the study was to determine the Effect of Giving Young Dates on the Acceleration of Period I Childbirth The results of the accelerated period I research obtained a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 was rejected, so that there was a significant influence and difference that occurred in the first stage of childbirth between before being given young date therapy treatment and after being given treatment to pregnant women in Period I.
