Abstract

The care provided by midwives throughout the life cycle, including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and family planning, is known as comprehensive midwifery. Midwives provide this care to their patients to carry out their duties as midwives. Lactation massage targets several areas, including the breasts, back, shoulders, and neck. The basic idea behind lactation massage is to induce a state of relaxation in the mother, which in turn increases breast milk production by the hormone oxytocin. Since most women do not produce enough breast milk after giving birth, lactation massage aims to stimulate breast milk production. This is due to the fact that a woman's energy levels will be very different after giving birth compared to when she was pregnant, when her milk supply was more stable and the breastfeeding mother felt calmer. This research uses case study methodology, which is a type of descriptive research. By utilizing trackers. There will be a decrease in calcium levels in breast milk when a postpartum mother uses lactation massage to stimulate breast milk production for thirty minutes, twice a day. After giving new mothers a 30-minute lactation massage, researchers found that their breast milk production increased. In short: Women who have recently given birth can benefit from lactation massage by increasing the amount of breast milk they produce.

Abstract

Nausea and vomiting that occur in pregnancy are caused by an increase in the hormones estrogen and progesterone produced by HCG in serum from the placenta. In emesis gravidarum, if not treated immediately, it will result in weight loss due to inadequate maternal nutritional intake resulting in increased incidence of fetal growth disorders, low birth weight, and congenital defects in the fetus. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of giving ginger candy to nausea and vomiting in pregnant women. The research method is Quasy experimental with "One group pretest posttest design" design. The population is 30 people. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the T-test. The results showed that the effectiveness of giving ginger candy to nausea and vomiting in pregnant women from the test results using the t-test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05) thus Ha received an increase in the average value before being given treatment 10.83 and after being given the mean value of treatment is 7.27, from these data it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the scores of nausea and vomiting before and after being given ginger candy. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of ginger candy on nausea and vomiting in pregnant women.

Based on the medical record data of Raja Ahmad Tabib Regional Public Hospital, the number of deliveries in 2020 was 253 maternity mothers. Meanwhile, ANC (Antenatal Care) visit data from November to December for pregnant women in the third trimester were 30 pregnant women. The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of warm compress on labor pain intensity during first stage of active phase on maternity women at obstetrics room of Raja Ahmad Tabib Regional Public Hospital of Tanjungpinang in 2020. This study used a pre experimental design with one pre-test-post-test group. It was conducted at obstetrics room of Raja Ahmad Tabib Regional Public Hospital of Tanjungpinang on December 2020 to January 2021.  The population of this study was 30 respondents that taken by using accidental sampling. Based on the result of the study, the pain intensity of respondents before applying warm compress was moderate pain as many as 4,63 with standart deviation as 1,847 and  after applying warm compress was moderate pain as many as 3,17 with standart deviation 1,621  After being given warm compress, statistical test results using t-test showed p value = 0.000 (p > α (0.05), therefore it can be concluded that there was an effect of warm compress on labor pain intensity during first stage of active phase on maternity women at obstetrics room of Raja Ahmad Tabib Regional Public Hospital of Tanjungpinang.

Abstract

Problems such as not producing breast milk smoothly, especially for mothers who have given birth for the first time, are very normal, and often they do not carry out IMD (Early Initiation of Breastfeeding) shortly after birth because awareness has not yet recovered, so it can be a factor in hampering the release of breast milk. To overcome this problem, you can consume papaya leaves which contain the enzymes papain and potassium, which are useful for breaking down the protein you eat, while potassium is useful for meeting potassium needs during breastfeeding. The aim is to determine the educational effect of giving stir-fried papaya leaves on postpartum mothers' knowledge about smooth breast milk production. Quantitative research method, posttest only control group design approach, January-August 2024. Place in Tanjung Balai Karimun. The study population was all postpartum mothers who were breastfeeding. The sampling technique in this research was Accidental Sampling with a total of 34 respondents. Analysis used the T Test. The average knowledge of post-partum mothers about giving stir-fried papaya leaves to facilitate breast milk production in the pretest was 14.26, posttest was 17.50, the statistical test obtained a p value = 0.001 (α < 0.05). Conclusion: There is an educational effect of giving stir-fried papaya leaves on the knowledge of postpartum mothers regarding the smooth production of breast milk Keywords : Education, Aloe Vera Compress, Postpartum, Breast Milk Dam

Abstract

Perimenopause is a phase of menopause change that occurs several years before menopause, which includes changes from the ovulation cycle to the anoovulation cycle with signs of menstrual cycle irregularities. The World Health Organization (WHO) shows an increase in the number of women entering the climacterium phase, which is estimated to increase to more than one billion by 2030. Perimenopausal women often experience sleep disorders or insomnia because serotonin levels decrease so that the amount of estrogen decreases. Insomnia can be treated using acupressure massage and lavender aromatherapy. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of acupressure and lavender aroma therapy on perimenopausal insomnia. The design in this study is pre-experimental with one group pretest and posttest design. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of acupressure and lavender aromatherapy on perimenopausal women, as evidenced by the results of a statistical test with a value of p 0.000 (p < 0.05) in the 2024 Karimun Health Center Work Area. The suggestion of the results of the study is expected to improve the ability in non-pharmacological therapy, namely the influence of acupressure and aroma lavender therapy to reduce insomnia in perimenopause among the community.
