Abstract

Abstract Technology is developing from year to year, so technology is needed in the form of an application, one of which is to simplify the academic administration process, one of which is designing an application for paying SPP donations (Payment of Academic Development Contributions). The design of this application aims to simplify the administration part for paying Educational Development Contributions (SPP). The research method uses interviews, observation and literature studies, then the method uses (User Centered Design) which consists of context analysis, defining requirements, design, evaluation. The design of this application is tested with the level of efficiency using the user centered design method. (UCD), The results of validity testing for the design of Educational Development Contribution (SPP) payment applications, where the efficient levels were obtained were (1) 0.646, (2) 0.772, (3) 0.595, (4) 0.853, (5) 0.514, ( 6) 0.831, (7) 0.554, (8) 0.872, (9) 0.62, (1) 0.852 stated that the efficiency level is valid. The results of reliability testing for designing the Education Development Contribution (SPP) payment application, where the efficient level is obtained is ( 1) 0.887, (2) 0.878, (3) 0.889, (4) 0.872, (5) 0.894, (6) 0.873, (7) 0.895, (8) 0.868, (9) 0.888, (10) 0.893 declared Level efficiency is declared Reliable, where the test Keywords— Aplication, Design Website, UCD, Validitas, Realibilitas.

Abstract

Background: Web-based applications have not been optimally utilized at the Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Peninjauan Village, where teachers still have minimal knowledge in using technology for learning. Therefore, community service activities are needed to train them to use the Canva and Figma applications to design more modern and technology-based learning materials. The objectives of this Community Service are 1) Providing training on how to use the fiqma and canva applications so that they can use them effectively, 2) Improving the competence of participants in designing web-based designs with Figma and Canva application technology at the Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School, Peninjauan Village, OKU Regency, South Sumatra Province. Method: This community service includes mentoring activities, discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations. The partner in this activity is the Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School in Peninjauan Village, with 28 participants. The activity lasted for 3 days, with a duration of 8 hours each day. Results: Improving the competence of teachers at the Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School in using the Canva and Figma applications to design computer-based exam web designs. Findings during the activity showed that, despite initial difficulties in adopting new technology, the training participants were able to adapt well after receiving clear guidance and opportunities for hands-on practice. Conclusion: The results of this activity were the creation of a computer-based exam web design for the Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School in the review village to replace conventional exams with digital ones.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a decision support system for selecting the best ustadz by applying the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method at Rumah Tahfidz Al-Firdaus Banyuasin. The institution faces challenges due to the absence of a formal procedure for objectively and measurably identifying outstanding instructors. The SMART method is employed because it enables transparent decision-making through systematic calculations based on predefined weights and parameters. The research adopts the Waterfall development model, which includes requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. The evaluation parameters include attendance level, frequency of lateness, professional behavior, teaching techniques, team collaboration, and guidance in memorizing the Qur’an. This study contributes to the development of decision support systems in tahfidz institutions by adapting the SMART method to assessment criteria specific to Qur’anic learning. The findings show that the application developed is capable of assisting management in objectively measuring and determining the best ustadz, while also simplifying the performance evaluation process. Black-box testing confirms that all system features operate in accordance with the initial design, and the SMART calculation output successfully generates an automatic ranking of the top instructors. The presence of this system makes the assessment process more efficient, accurate, and sustainable, thereby supporting the improvement of teaching quality in Qur’an-based educational institutions.
