Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the politeness level of Tadris Indonesian language students at UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan. The study in this research is also related to the views of Islamic family law and combined with a pragmatic review of the language. The research methods and techniques used are descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection technique is in the form of participatory observation. Data analysis techniques use interactive models, which are divided into three parts, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are through a review of Islamic family law and a combination of pragmatic linguistics, it can be drawn the parameters of one's language politeness. Through various maxims that are directly or indirectly uttered by speakers in certain situations and speech contexts. After the various politeness maxims are applied, namely the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of modesty, the maxim of appreciation, the maxim of agreement, and the maxim of sympathy. Then, we will be able to use it as a benchmark and parameter for achieving good, correct, polite, and polite speech.Keywords: Islamic Family Law, Indonesian Department Students, Language Politeness

Abstract

Code switching is a linguistic phenomenon caused by bilingual events and the existence of bilingualism in society. Code mixing is a language event that mixes two or more languages or varieties of languages in a language act. In general, in the teaching and learning process at MTs Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan, teachers and students always use code switching and code mixing in their speech. This is done so that the teaching and learning process can be understood by both teachers and students. In the realm of education, we can still see code switching and code mixing, especially in the teaching and learning process in schools. This happens because school residents master more than one language. This research aims to determine the effect of Indonesian language teachers' code switching and code mixing on the language skills of class VIII students at MTs Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. The theories that support this research consist of sociolinguistics, bilingualism, code switching, code mixing, and indicators of the independent variables in this research. This type of research is field research using a quantitative approach, namely direct research carried out in the field or on respondents. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. Sampling in this study used a random sampling technique with a sample size of 65 students determined using the Taro Yamane formula. The data analysis method used to obtain the results of the research hypothesis is the multiple linear regression test, t-test and F-test. The results show that there is an influence of Indonesian language teachers' code switching and code mixing on the language skills of class VIII students at MTs Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. When carrying out learning activities in class, students more often speak using code switching and code mixing in their speech, whether during presentations or during small discussions when learning is carried out. Abstract

The Backgrounds of this research problem is students find it difficult to understand and write descriptive text due to a lack of ideas for describing something. In using audio-visual media in learning to write descriptive text, there are obstacles faced by teachers, namely limited technological capabilities and time utilization using audio-visual media. The use of audio- visual media in this modern era should be utilized more because it has been proven to improve student learning outcomes, this is proven by the results of observations and interviews with Indonesian language teachers at the Baharuddin Janji Mauli Muaratais Modern Islamic Boarding School. The use of audio-visual media aims to provide students with more understanding in writing descriptive texts through video and audio which can give students an idea of the object to be described. This research used a qualitative research methodology with Indonesian language teachers, school principals and class VII students at the Baharuddin Modern Islamic Boarding School as informants with a total of16 individuals. The results of the research showed that students were able to write descriptive texts well because they did not find it difficult to put words together and get ideas for writing so that after using audio-visual media, So it can be concluded that the use of audio visual media in learning to write descriptive text is effective.Keywords: Writing Descriptive Text; Audio Visual Media.

Abstract

This article examines language disorders and how the Islamic perspective views them. It is extraordinary that Islam contains all fields of science, and especially linguistics in the focus of this article. Islam does not only focus on studying religious issues but concerns all elements of life, including science. Therefore, this article was written based on the extraordinary nature of Islam in regulating everything.Data processing techniques in research are, by observing, reviewing, recording and collecting relevant data that is in accordance with the object of study in this research. In the use of verbal communication, each of us is equipped with language skills, but these abilities are not always the same, some are normal and some are abnormal. Not only opinions about the relationship between language and thought are discussed by Psycholinguistics/Neurolinguistics experts, religious perspectives also analyze and participate in the study of language and thought. When viewed from a religious perspective, the study of language and thought which was then based on the revelation of the Qur'an led to different interpretations of the meaningful content with the insights of experts from each period. Keywords: Language Disorders, Neurolinguistics, Islamic Perspective
