Abstract

This study examines the integrated learning evaluation system implemented at the Modern Islamic Boarding School of Tarbiyah Islamiyah (PPMTI) Tanjung Barulak, Kampar Regency, Riau. As a semi-modern Islamic boarding school, PPMTI faces challenges in integrating traditional Islamic boarding school evaluation methods with modern evaluation approaches. This descriptive qualitative study aims to analyze how teachers assess students in integrated learning that combines the Islamic boarding school curriculum and the national curriculum. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with 12 teachers, and analysis of evaluation documents during the period March-May 2025. The results of the study indicate that PPMTI implements a holistic evaluation system that includes three main aspects: (1) cognitive evaluation through written and oral tests, (2) affective evaluation through observation of daily attitudes and morals, and (3) psychomotor evaluation through worship practices and skills. The findings indicate that the integration of traditional and modern evaluations results in a more comprehensive assessment of the development of students, but there are still challenges in standardizing and documenting evaluation results.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Filariasis (elephantiasis) is a disease caused by the Culex quinquefasciatus mosquito vector. Eradicating larvae is one way of controlling the Culex mosquito vector. Brotowali stems (Tinospora crispa) have potential as a natural larvicide. The contents of brotowali (Tinospora crispa) stem extract include alkaloids, tannins, saponins, glycosides, terpenoids and flavonoids. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of brotowali (Tinospora crispa) stem extract as a larvicide against Culex sp. The research method used was laboratory experimental using 4 variations of concentration, namely 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% with 5 treatments using Culex sp larvae. Based on research results, the lowest death concentration level is 4% with a death percentage of 48% and the highest death concentration level is 10% with a death percentage of 82%. In the One Way ANOVA test, the p value = 0.000, where the p value < 0.05, means that brotowali (Tinospora crispa) stem extract is effective as a larvicide for Culex sp mosquitoes. Keywords: Culex sp, Bitter vine (Tinospora crispa) , Extract ABSTRAK Penyakit Filariasis (kaki gajah) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang disebabkan oleh vektor nyamuk Culex quinquefasciatus.

Abstract

This article discusses the internalization of Islamic values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning as a strategic effort to shape the character and personality of students who are faithful, knowledgeable, and have noble morals. The background to this study is based on the phenomenon of declining morality of the younger generation amidst globalization and technological developments, which require PAI learning to focus not only on cognitive aspects but also on the formation of Islamic attitudes and behaviors. The research method used in this article is a qualitative-descriptive method with a literature study approach (library research). Data were obtained from various relevant library sources, including books, scientific articles, previous research results, and Quranic verses and hadiths that support this research. The results of the study indicate that the internalization of Islamic values encompasses four main dimensions: faith (aqidah), worship (ibadah), morals (akhlak), and science (scientific). The process occurs through three important stages: value transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization. Teacher strategies play a central role in the success of this process through role modeling, habituation, integration of values into learning materials, and providing advice and value reflection. Successful internalization is also influenced by a religious school environment, family support, and contextual learning media. While the negative influence of digital media and low student motivation are key challenges, internalizing Islamic values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) requires synergistic collaboration between teachers, schools, families, and the community to create a generation that is religious, virtuous, and capable of facing the challenges of the times based on Islamic values.

Abstract

The phenomenon behind this study is the lack of consistency in students' worship behavior despite having received Islamic Religious Education at school. This condition shows that students' worship behavior is not only influenced by religious understanding, but also by family environment and internal psychological factors. This study aims to analyze the relationship and influence of religious understanding, family environment, and emotional intelligence on students' worship behavior. The research was conducted at MTs with a population of 66 students, who were also used as samples through total sampling technique. This study is a field survey with a correlational quantitative approach. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale questionnaire, namely a questionnaire on religious understanding (10 items), family environment (10 items), emotional intelligence (10 items), and students' worship behavior (10 items). Data analysis was performed using correlation and multiple regression tests. The results showed that religious understanding had a positive and significant relationship with students' worship behavior (r = 0.634; p < 0.05), family environment also showed a positive and significant relationship (r = 0.549; p < 0.05), and emotional intelligence had the strongest relationship with students' worship behavior (r = 0.829; p < 0.05). The regression analysis results show that religious understanding, family environment, and emotional intelligence simultaneously have a significant effect on students' worship behavior with a coefficient of determination of R² = 0.714, which means that 71% of the variation in students' worship behavior can be explained by these three variables. This study is expected to serve as a basis for the development of integrated student worship guidance through the strengthening of cognitive, family, and emotional intelligence aspects.
