Abstract

This article endeavors to delve into the intricacies of human psychology within the framework of the Quran and Hadith. The research methodology employed is a comprehensive library research approach, utilizing reputable sources such as books, journals, and pertinent prior research related to the predetermined theme. The research findings illuminate that the field of psychology delves into the very essence of the human soul, exploring various phenomena, processes, and contextual backgrounds. Viewing humans from the perspective of individual and social entities, encompassing the psychological (spiritual) and biological dimensions, they are perceived as entities harmonizing both material and spiritual components. Within the context of their relationship with the Divine, humans are esteemed as servants (makhluq) holding the highest position. The comprehension of human psychology in the Islamic perspective is elucidated through the conceptual exploration of Nafs, al-Aqlu, al-Qalbu, and ar-Ruh.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the role of guidance and counseling teachers in developing spiritual intelligence of junior high school students. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques using interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that the role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Developing Spiritual Intelligence of Junior High School Students is to apply religious values, instill the values of honesty, patience education and train students to always be grateful. All of these roles are integrated into the process of guidance and counseling services in junior high schools. To develop students' spiritual intelligence, of course, it takes time in each process, so the support from all parties in SMP is very helpful in the process of developing spiritual intelligence of SMP students.

Abstract

One of the factors that plays a role in students' career planning is local culture. In the Kuranji environment, there are students facing obstacles in career planning. Therefore, the aim of this research is to understand the role of local culture in the career decisions of students at SMAN 16 Kuranji Padang. The research method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), a type of research that involves active participation of participants in the research process, from planning to implementation and evaluation. Data is obtained through direct participation with the research subjects. After obtaining the data, descriptive analysis will be conducted. The research results indicate that the local culture influencing students' career plans includes: the role of parents in supporting students' career plans, learning awareness demonstrated by students' discipline in attending classes on time, communication skills of students with parents and peers, and self-esteem and confidence to plan for a better career.
