Abstract

The Quran teaches principles to uphold unity, brotherhood, equality and freedom in society. Democracy, although controversial among Muslim intellectuals, values human rights, participation in decision-making, and equality under the law. In Indonesia, democracy is considered a strong basis for society, where the government must obtain the consent of the majority and ensure that the rights of minorities are respected. These principles should be reflected in a form of state that is in line with the values of the majority of its people and provides space for dissent. The purpose of this study is to find out what democracy is in Islam and how democracy is in the perspective of Tafsir Al-Qurthubi and Tafsir Al-Mishbah. The method used in this research is that this research uses descriptive method and also uses maudhu'i interpretation method. The results of this study state that democracy in Islam is taken from Q.S Ali Imran verse 159. In the verse mentioned a fragment of a word also called shu'ara or deliberation which then the word has experienced a development of meaning. The original meaning is bees that drink honey and its meaning after experiencing expansion becomes "everything that can be taken and issued", namely opinions. In the book of Tafsir Al-Qurthubi, the initial part of this verse is interpreted that the Prophet was gentle with those who turned away at the battle of Uhud and was not harsh with them, so Allah explained that he could do that because of His guidance to him. In the book of Tafsir Al-Mishbah, the word syawirhum comes from the word syawara which is where the initial meaning of the word is "removing honey from the beehive". Then over time this meaning developed so that it included everything that could be taken and issued (including opinions).

Abstract

Keamanan data menjadi hal yang sangat penting untuk melindungi kerahasiaan dari seseorang. Keamanan dan kerahasiaan data berpengaruh terhadap proses pertukaran pesan penting. Banyak teknik keamanan data yang dapat digunakan demi menjaga kerahasiaan pesan dari pihak lain, meliputi kriptografi dan steganografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi Android bernama PiGANO yang menggabungkan algoritma Caesar Cipher dan Least significant bit (LSB) guna meningkatkan keamanan dan kerahasiaan pesan dalam media gambar. Proses penelitian mencakup analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi algoritma, serta pengujian aplikasi melalui tahapan perhitungan MSE dan PSNR dari hasil enkripsi untuk mengukur tingkat kesalahan dan kualitas gambar hasil enkripsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berhasil mengenkripsi pesan serta menyembunyikannya dalam media gambar dengan baik. Aplikasi ini memberikan tingkat keamanan ganda dengan memadukan teknik kriptografi dan steganografi, sehingga pesan terlindungi dari pihak yang tidak berwenang. Penerapan algoritma Caesar Cipher menghasilkan pesan yang terenkripsi dan sulit diakses, sementara algoritma LSB mampu menyembunyikan pesan dalam gambar digital tanpa mempengaruhi kualitas visual. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kombinasi kedua teknik ini efektif untuk menjaga kerahasiaan data.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the innovation of using the Wordwall application as a learning medium for Arabic language instruction—specifically tailored to the needs of students in the Agrotechnology study program at Darussalam Gontor University. Adopting a qualitative approach through a case study method, the research seeks to illustrate how Wordwall is implemented in the Arabic language learning process for specific purposes (Li Aghrad Khassah) and assess its overall effectiveness. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Findings indicate that integrating Wordwall into Arabic language learning significantly supports students’ comprehension, particularly regarding content relevant to Agrotechnology. This improvement is evidenced by the comparison between pre-test and post-test scores—students in classes A and C scored 42% on the pre-test, which increased to 86% on the post-test, showing a notable enhancement in their understanding. Despite its benefits, the use of this application also faces certain challenges, primarily due to the reliance on a stable internet connection.
