Abstract

PT.

Abstract

Lean Six Sigma is a method that is quite effective in solving waste problems in the production process, but it is often not optimal because of the tools used in the DMAIC process. Therefore, we developed a proposed model by combining the Waste Assessment Model and Fuzzy-FMEA in Lean Six Sigma to reduce waste in the production process. The Waste Assessment Model was used at the defined stage to identify waste, while the Fuzzy-FMEA was used for priority waste risk analysis at the analysis stage. Based on the results of the Waste Assessment Model case study, defects were the most influential waste, with a percentage of 22.38%. At the analysis stage using Pareto diagrams, tearing was the dominant defect in the Nike Extreme. Based on calculations using the Fuzzy-FMEA method, the highest cause of defects was errors in processes or missed processes that caused the failure. Improvement was carried out at the improvement stage, and we found it necessary to carry out intensive and periodic control or supervision of the Nike Extreme production process. Based on these results, the proposed Lean Six Sigma model can be used to identify and reduce waste in the production process.

Abstract

Marketing is the main activity carried out by entrepreneurs to maintain the viability of their business, develop the company, and get maximum profit. Companies need to know the right and appropriate marketing strategy so that the products to be sold on the market. Marketing strategy is one of the strategies applied to the retail industry in Indonesia, one of which is Indomaret. The purpose of this research is to increase market competitiveness so that it can survive and develop, and Indomaret in Kaliurang hopes to make a strategy to increase sales by conducting an analysis of consumer segments and product categories so that they can create sales strategies that can increase sales. The method used is clustering to find potential target markets that have similar characteristics and association rules &; Market basket analysis (AR-MBA) is used to find best practices for product marketing. The results of the Cluster Method with Non-Hierarchical Algorithm K-Means are 3 clusters. Based on the analysis conducted, it was found that the results of the AR-MBA method, there could be 6 rules for goods purchased simultaneously. Marketing strategies that can be applied by Indomaret Kaliurang such as promotions can be created by making products that are rarely purchased as bonuses for buying products that are often purchased. In addition, vouchers can be created as a promotional tool to encourage greater consumer purchases. Keywords: AR-MBA, clustering, sales strategy, strategy marketing

Abstract

Workload can be defined as the difference between a worker's ability and job demands. Based on observations that have been made, it is known that madukismo sugar companies get an increasing demand value in each season of production, so this causes an increase in the number of working hours that apply to the company, which has the potential to increase their mental work. This study investigated the mechanical mental workload of workers at Madukismo Sugar Company using the NASA-TLX method, a multidimensional assessment tool. The NASA-TLX method is a multidimensional assessment method that can measure the overall mental workload to determine the mental workload felt by each worker. The results indicate a very high mental workload in some operators and suggest the need for operational adjustments. The recommendations are additional manpower and improved ergonomic levels to reduce stress and increase productivity. Keywords: Mental Workload, NASA-TLX, Job Demands

Abstract

XYZ Company, a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) based in Yogyakarta, specializes in producing hijabs but faces challenges in maintaining customer interest due to a misalignment between product designs and consumer preferences. To address this, the company actively engages in new product development (NPD), focusing on trend analysis and model innovation to cater to customer needs better. An essential part of minimizing risks during the NPD process involves evaluating and identifying potential pitfalls, particularly in marketing and design. This study employs the Hazard and Operability Review (HOR) method to assess risks systematically. Initial findings from HOR phase 1 reveal that inadequate competitor information (A3) leads to significant risks in competitor product identification (E3), contributing approximately 70.34% to the total Aggregate Risk Priority (ARP). Subsequently, in HOR phase 2, XYZ Company prioritizes ten mitigation actions, with conducting a comparative study of competitors' products (PA1) being the most critical, reflected by an ETDk value of 540. Keywords: House of Risk (HOR), Hijab Fashion, Hijab Industry, New Product Development (NPD)
