Abstract

Perineal wounds are lacerations or injuries that occur along the birth canal (perineum) due to the delivery process. Wound healing is the process of replacing and repairing damaged tissue function. The purpose of this study was to see the difference in perineal wound healing between those who did Kegel exercises and those who didnot do Kegel exercises. The research method uses a Quasi-Experimental with the Posttest Only Control Group Design approach. The number of samples taken were 18 postpartum women with perineal wounds at PMB Sri Puji UW S.Tr.Keb. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using observation sheets. Statistical test using the Mann Whitney. The results of the study after being given the treatment obtained the value of Asymp.Sig = 0.028, thus the Asymp.Sig was smaller than α <0.05, thus it can be said that there was a difference in the group that did Kegel exercises and those who did not do Kegel exercises. Because there is a significant difference, it can be said that "there is an effect of doing Kegel exercises on the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum women" at PMB Sri Puji UW S.Tr.Keb Sampang. It is hoped that the results of the research can become information for the development of health sciences, especially health in postpartum women in healing perineal wounds and reducing delays in perineal wound healing. As well as management by doing Kegel exercises to speed up the healing process of perineal wounds.

Abstract

This research seeks to explore students"™ comprehension of the concept of arithmetic sequences in relation to Surah Al-Kahf verse 22 at MTs Al-Ihsan Pontianak. This topic was chosen because many students still struggle to master arithmetic sequence material, particularly in determining the value of then term and the sum of all terms up to n. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method using specific data gathering techniques consisting of open-ended tests and semistructured interviews. The research subjects were eighth-grade students who had already studied arithmetic sequences. The research instruments were developed based on indicators of mathematical understanding and modified to integrate the concept of arithmetic sequences with Islamic values found in Surah Al-Kahf verse 22. It was found that 29% of participants demonstrated well-developed understanding, 59% moderate, also 12% low. The main difficulties included applying formulas, identifying patterns, and making deep connections between the mathematical concepts and the Qur"™anic verse. However, some students were able to recognize the number pattern in the verse (3, 5, 7) as an arithmetic sequence with a constant difference. These findings indicate that integrating Qur"™anic verses into mathematics instruction has the potential to enhance students"™ understanding, both cognitively and spiritually. The study recommends the development of contextual and religious learning models to strengthen the connection between mathematical concepts and Islamic values.

Abstract

In Indonesia there are several types of sea transportation, some of which are commonly used for public purposes. Some are only used for certain purposes. The port itself as a sea transportation infrastructure that supports smooth sea transportation has a function that is closely related to social and economic factors. Batu-Guluk Harbour is a ferry port that connects Kangean Island with Madura Island. Lack of passengers, for example the ship has exceeded its load and capacity but the ship's officers sometimes still accept passengers. This study aims to find out how to analyze the policy on sea transportation needs at Batu Guluk Port and to find out what factors support and hinder the process of sea transportation activities at Batu Guluk Port, according to William dunn. The research method chosen in this study uses a qualitative approach, the data collected is in the form of document data, data interviews, data observation, then analyzed using interactive data analysis. The results obtained are: (1) Lack of sea transportation and passenger comfort Sea transportation for passengers cannot be said to be feasible because of the large passenger capacity and the small size of the ship, this is very dangerous with the safety and comfort of passengers. So sea transportation for passengers provided must be added considering the large number of passengers needed by increasing cooperation between shipping companies and also looking for sponsors to be able to meet the shortage of sea transportation to the Kangean Islands, (2) Supporting factors in the process of sea transportation activities at Batu port-Guluk the availability of several workforces used such as laborers who assist in the process of loading and unloading passengers and ship departure times which are always on time and goods while the inhibiting factors in the process of sea transportation activities at Batu-Guluk port are weather, lack of availability of transportation fleets, and shortage of officers counter in serving the purchase of tickets.
