Abstract

The Area Sample Framework (ASF) survey is an area based survey carried out by direct observation of sample parts whose locations have been determined. Every month ASF officers take photos of observation results using an Android based cellphone, where the results of the photos will be classified manually by supervision officers and sent to a central server for processing. The large amount of rice plant image data included can hinder officers in classifying rice growth phases. Therefore, to speed up the classification process, the Convolution Neural Network (CNN) method is used. In this research, the CNN model built consists of 3 convolution layers, 3 pooling, ReLU and Sigmoid activation functions, with several other parameters such as batch size and epoch value. The training results show that the accuracy value for the training data is 92.86% with an epoch value of 120. Meanwhile, the accuracy value for the validation data is 69.01%. Model evaluation shows a precision value of 21.34% and a recall value of 32.20%. This shows that the CNN model has poor performance in predicting harvest and non-harvest in rice plant images.

Abstract

Good pharmaceutical procurement management can prevent stock shortages, reduce costs, and improve healthcare service quality. However, issues such as medication shortages, delayed procurement, and discrepancies between demand and supply are still common. This literature review aims to analyze pharmaceutical procurement management in hospital pharmacy units. The literature search yielded 10 relevant articles on pharmaceutical procurement management in hospital pharmacy units. The databases used were Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Semantic Scholar. The keywords used were management, pharmaceutical procurement, and hospital. The search results underwent a screening process using the PICO elements and the CRAAP method. The findings indicate that pharmaceutical management in various hospitals has shown progress, but still faces challenges such as inaccurate data collection, delayed drug supply, and storage facilities that do not meet standards. Other obstacles include limited funds, inability to pay on time, and a lack of integrated information systems. However, some aspects are well-managed, such as the use of e-purchasing and proper drug storage categorization.

Abstract

Providing adequate remuneration is an important step in enhancing work motivation, which in turn can have a positive impact on hospital staff performance, enabling them to deliver quality services. This literature review aims to further explore the influence of remuneration and work motivation in the hospital environment. A total of 10 relevant articles were reviewed regarding the relationship between remuneration and work motivation in hospitals. The databases used for this search were Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Semantic Scholar. The keywords used were remuneration, motivation, and hospitals. The results were filtered using the PICO elements and the CRAAP method. The findings indicate that remuneration not only serves as a tool for motivation but also improves job satisfaction, which contributes to better performance. Hospitals need to adopt a holistic approach that includes fair remuneration, recognition of performance, and a supportive work environment to motivate employees, which indirectly enhances the quality of healthcare services.

Abstract

Lean Management is a method that emphasizes reducing waste and increasing added value in healthcare service processes. Through a systematic literature review, this study identifies various aspects of Lean implementation in hospitals, such as reducing patient waiting times, optimizing resource utilization, and improving patient satisfaction. The findings reveal that Lean Management implementation not only supports operational efficiency but also enhances service quality and patient experience. The success of this method heavily depends on management support, active staff involvement, and adequate training. This study also highlights challenges such as resistance to change and budget constraints. These findings have significant implications for hospital managers and policymakers in formulating strategies to improve healthcare service effectiveness. Recommendations for future research include empirical studies examining Lean implementation in various hospital contexts, particularly in developing countries. This study aims to explore and analyze strategies for improving hospital operational efficiency through the Lean Management approach.
